How much do you know about the Jardine House (𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐩𝐞 👉🏻👉🏻👉🏻)
1. The tallest skyscraper(178.5m) in Hong Kong and in Asia at the time of its completion in 1972.
2. It was completed in a record time of just sixteen months.
3. There are 1,748 circular windows. Some said they are inspired by the Moon gate 月洞門in Chinese gardens, others said they are like portholes, which is inspired by the nautical history of the city.
4. It is not in the top 100 skyscrapers in HK now it but you can always see it in the HK skyline - a deal was made with the government that no building directly to the north of Jardine House would ever be built tall enough to obstruct its views.
5. The Hopewell centre took over the title of the tallest building in Hong Kong in 1980.

There are a total of 355 150+ m high skyscraper in Hong Kong with ICC (484m) in Kowloon being the tallest. None of the skyscraper in Hong Kong made it to the Top 10 skyscrapers in the world.
