Firstime after 2 years of having Lucky, our heart trembled yesterday evening. We couldn't find him. Mom told us that he is not himself, screaming continuously and probably hide in our room.

Later only we find out that he was hiding under and deep below our bed after searching timeless for him. Tried to pull him out, but he growls and react violently, knowing that he's not alright. His legs and tail looked static, not moving, he's in a total deep pain. He tried to calm down when we called his name, but when we tried to touch his back, he growls in pain and bite his daddy.

We were worried, worried sick. The only vet that is open 24/7 is in KL and he could not go that far. Based on experience, he will scream until he lose his breath and gasp for air if we take him that far concerning his terrible condition.
We have to let him calm and hope he will be better tomorrow.

The night seems so slow. The three of us couldnt sleep. He tried to jump on the bed but couldnt, wanted to sleep with us, as usual. My husband slept at the floor to ensure he didn't feel alone.

He cried and cried. I cried badly. Looking at his condition, he couldn't move at all. He failed everytime he tried to move. He sits on a paper bag, he keep on biting the paper bag until it tore because of his pain.

All of us had minimal sleep until the next morning and quickly brought him to the veterinary once they opened. We waited until 4 pm because he needed to be on anaesthetic for the doctor to conduct an X-ray for him.

The doctor told us there is good news and bad news. Good news, his legs is okay. Bad news, his tail is extremely not okay. His back bone was dislocated due to a very bad cat fight where his opponent bit and pulled his tail. He has other scars elsewhere, behind his ears, back and his feet. The X-ray showed where the bone dislocated. It is only one bone near his spinal cord, if he was very unlucky, he might be paralysed for the rest of his life.

We couldn't be more thankful to God that he spares Lucky's life and condition. Doctor told us that he need to be on proper medication for a month. We really hope that he will be alright soon. If his tail doesn't recover and remain static, it might need to be amputated because it will cause him other injury.

It is ultimately heartbreaking to see him crawl to go to one point to another but he couldn't. It takes him too much time even just a short distance. Even worse, he tried to go to his toilet, but couldn't. We needed to carry him, but at this moment, too much pain for him. He still didn't eat, drink and sleep. He keeps on trying to move around. He didn't give up. It's very upsetting.
I suppose this is how bad and sad the feeling is when your child is sick. Worse, couldn't move, in constant pain.

As I'm writing this, he keeps on crawling to try to be normal again. We really hope he will. Please pray for Lucky's wellness and wish that he will get better soon. Thank you. 😭
