The She Universe is a celebration of Kotex 100 years with 100 amazing Malaysian superwomen who have inspired us all!
A multi-talented achiever, Dr. Soo Wincci was crowned Miss World Malaysia, but that’s just the tip of the iceberg! She faced learning difficulties as a child, and struggled with bullies and overcoming her own shyness. Her road to Miss World included a series of losses, and the hurdles did not stop there as she was jobless and lost after winning the crown. However, her dauntless nature would not let up, and she decided to take control of her own destiny by pushing herself harder. She set her sights on studying and improving herself, even competing in male-dominated entertainment industries as people laughed at her decisions. Dr. Soo Wincci now wears her many hats with pride: She is an artist, composer, model, entrepreneur, and award-winning holder of multiple PhDs. Not only does she inspire us to keep trying till you succeed, she motivates girls everywhere to challenge themselves to the fullest in every aspect of life!
