We would guess 1-Oct-2021 (National Day) for the China Bubble to open, and 1-Jul-2022 for international visitors to China (including HK & Macao). We expect that the Beijing Winter Olympics, scheduled to start on 4-Feb-2022, will either be postponed or for teams-only, arriving into a strictly-quarantined bubble.

民進黨執政下的國慶設計，再度讓國號、國旗被消失。慶祝中華民國國慶，英文卻掛上「Taiwan National Day」，中文更不見任何國號字樣；對照今年初，民進黨政府推出新版護照，同樣也是放大「TAIWAN」字樣，再讓中華民國的英文國號極小化，「REPUBLIC OF CHINA」直接淪為環繞國徽外的迷你綴飾。透過護照設計、國慶日主視覺使出各種如出一轍的小動作，蔡政府根本是「英文台獨」，難道國家是中華民國，有這麼不敢告訴外國人嗎？讓人質疑「中華民國」對蔡英文政府而言，始終都是說不出口的贅字？
根據國慶籌備委員會文字說明：「歷經半個多世紀淬煉，民主自由守護著台灣人的安全、維持印太區域的穩定…」公然竄改中華民國有110年的歷史事實，應被遣責。到底「半個多世紀」說法從何而來？怎麼起算？慶祝中華民國110年國慶，然而民進黨政府陳述國家的歷史卻直接腰斬，讓110年直接砍半，究竟意圖偷渡的是何種主張與概念？而慶籌會提出的主視覺色彩說明，更看到民進黨竟直接讓色譜中迸出一項名不符實的民主綠，對照近日綠營的荒謬、獨裁更讓這番色彩解說令人啼笑皆非。
今年是蔡英文上任以來第六個國慶，但非常遺憾，中華民國再次淪為配角。強烈呼籲民進黨，應避免意識形態治國，放棄以華麗文藻堆砌的大內宣，真誠的面對歷史，務實的面對當前處境，才能真正維護和平，捍衛國家主權。

30 years ago today, as a young banker, I moved to Hong Kong - one of my better decisions. Here I made my home, my fortune and my family, and hopefully gave something back to make HK a better place than it would have been - we each do what we can, and that's what makes a cosmopolitan city.

Sadly, I doubt that I would make the same decision if I were 25 today. HK may have better days ahead, but for now, increasing government economic intervention, a rollback of political rights and the red iron fist of authoritarianism are sucking the dynamism out of the city and making it a far less welcoming place, not just for international immigrants to HK, but for our brightest local minds planning their future and deciding whether it lies in HK.

The HK and mainland Governments are inching towards opening the "boundary" with the mainland and Macao, at which point HK will become part of a one-Country "China bubble", isolated from the rest of the World until mainland authorities are ready to open up. We would guess 1-Oct-2021 (National Day) for the China Bubble to open, and 1-Jul-2022 for international visitors to China (including HK & Macao). We expect that the Beijing Winter Olympics, scheduled to start on 4-Feb-2022, will either be postponed or for teams-only, arriving into a strictly-quarantined bubble.

美國「外交」雜誌最新一篇報導，說明G7領袖聯合公報中納入台海和平安全的議題，代表「台灣海峽的危機將影響歐洲利益」的意識，越來越高漲。這篇名為：The EU’s Stake in the Taiwan Strait Issue(歐盟在台海問題上的利害關係）的報導，並說明讓七國同意這個議題被列入並不容易，內幕是：德國、法國的先頭部隊不敢決定，是到最後一天早上，才達成共識的！

報導最先指出這個聲明的意義說：「最新聲明表現岀一個海峽危機將能影響歐洲利益的意識越來越高漲」（Recent statements reflect growing awareness of how a crisis in the strait would impact European interests.）。

The inclusion of the Taiwan Strait issue as a shared agenda item – under the “Global Responsibility and International Action” heading – was not an easy decision among the seven capitals. According to political and diplomatic sources cited by a Tokyo-based news agency, before the summit, the G-7 sherpas of France and Germany argued that since the Taiwan Strait issue had been touched upon clearly in the Foreign Ministers’ joint statement a month ago already, it might not be necessary to bring up the issue in the leaders’ communiqué. France and Germany were looking to mitigate the irritations to Beijing. The U.S. and Japanese representatives, on the other hand, suggested the necessity of such a move, arguing that the situation in the Taiwan Strait is a topic closely linked to their national security and that failing to mention it would deliver the wrong impression that the leaders collectively have no concerns over the issue. The sherpas thus left the decision to the heads of state and government over the course of the summit. It was not until the morning of the last day of the summit that French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel agreed on including the Taiwan Strait issue in the communiqué.

這是最好的時代，也是最壞的時代。
有人說我們的社會撕裂，但我卻感受到香港人史無前例的團結。

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.
Some said social cleavages emerged in our city,
but what I witnessed was an unprecedented unity of HongKongers.

2019年6月16日，香港經歷有史以來最大規模的示威遊行活動。多達200萬人參與遊行，抗議政府修訂《逃犯條例》草案。除撤回修訂逃犯條例外，不少民眾要求行政長官林鄭月娥下台。身穿黑衣的示威人潮迫滿街頭，令港島一帶馬路宛如「黑海」。亦有不少人手持白花，紀念日前在太古廣場墜樓的「梁烈士」。示威者手持不同的標語表達訴求，當中包括「學生沒有暴動」、「釋放被捕人士」、「追究警暴」等等。當首批遊行人士抵達金鐘添馬公園終點的時候，仍有不少遊行人士在維多利亞公園等待出發。儘管香港在當年暑假發生了一連串的事件，特首林鄭月娥要到9月初才正式撤回備受爭議的《逃犯條例》修訂草案。
