In Chinese medicinal circles some distinguish the more treasured varietal as the ' #LyciumBarbarum ' grown in Ningxia 寧夏 or Xinjiang 新疆, but in this case from Italy! But often the cheaper ' #LyciumChinense ' is exported overseas. The even lesser known ' #LyciumRuthenicum ' DNA is actually more prized & available in HK too, & apparently in Kashmir India its used to cure blind camels 🐫👀 @ Epicurus Hong Kong
