Situated within the creative industry, yet at first sight art and fashion seem to demonstrate to different worlds: while one is flashy, enticing and useful, the other exclusive and to quote the words of Oscar Wilde “All art is quite useless”. At times, a collaboration between a fashion designer and an artist however seem to bring about something that is “the best of both worlds”. Artworks that are reintepreted through different materials through the means of fashion seem to be more approachable. Likewise, clothings now apart from being functional, attain thier collectible status.
