上週日拜訪納帕的晚餐
來到這家位於 Yountville 的 Bistro Jeanty 法國小酒館。
前一站離開 RH Wine Vault
開一小段路就抵達了餐廳。
Bistro Jeanty 已經開幕超過 20 年
由大廚 Philippe Jeanty 創辦
使用最新鮮以及高階的食材製作最經典的法式料理。
疫情之後一月底納帕重新開放戶外用餐
事先在 OpenTable 上訂位
座位區位於戶外的庭院用餐區
上面有暖燈相當舒適。
服務生端來了一個黑板
上面寫著當日特色
想吃有特色的美食也可以參考黑板上的菜色。
點完餐之後
首先端上桌的是餐前麵包
搭配奶油就讓人一口接一口。
La Vie En Rose $15
我點的調酒
加入葡萄柚伏特加、接骨木花酒、葡萄柚與檸檬汁
再加入一點氣泡酒
水果味充足。
French 75 $15
以白蘭地以及香檳為基底
加入檸檬汁、糖以及檸檬
也是不錯的配餐的調酒。
Crème de Tomate en Croute $14.5
這天在 Joseph Phelps 酒莊品酒的時候倒酒師詢問我們接下來的計畫
在得知我們晚餐要來 Bistro Jeanty 的時候
就推薦我們絕對必點番茄湯！
我們四個人點了兩份番茄湯
上桌時香噴噴的酥皮下方是濃郁卻又不會太過膩口的番茄湯
淡橘色的番茄湯鮮甜又好喝
真的是必點！
Escargots $17.5
法式焗蝸牛真的是我的最愛之一
六隻蝸牛放在大蒜奶油以及法國茴香酒醬中
熱騰騰的香味四溢。
Dungeness Crab Soufflé with Whiskey Sauce
這道今日特餐的鄧金斯螃蟹鹹舒芙蕾搭配威士忌醬
滿滿的新鮮螃蟹
搭配蓬鬆的鹹味口感舒芙蕾也是超級有特色。
不過不知道為什麼
非常多法國小酒館風格的餐廳
都是前菜讓人驚艷但主餐非常普通
像是 Bouchon, Chez Maman 等等都給人這種感覺
下次真的應該要多點幾道前菜略過主餐。
Moules à la Normande $24
主餐之一點的是相對最不容易出錯的淡菜
在蘋果酒中蒸熟搭配香料與大蒜
旁邊附上大蒜麵包
是主餐中我個人還算喜歡的。
Cassoulet $32
下面滿滿的烤豆子
上面是一根法式油封鴨腿以及蘋果煙燻培根
整體有點偏重鹹
鴨肉也不夠軟嫩。
最後沒有吃完決定打包
才發現豆子中間藏了一根很大根的香腸
正好可以當隔天午餐。
Joue De Boeuf Aux Carottes $28
燉牛臉頰肉搭配馬鈴薯泥、青豆與紅蘿蔔
牛肉還算嫩不過調味普通。
Coq au Vin $26
一鍋裝在橘紅色 Le Creuset 鍋中端上桌的紅酒燉雞
有雞肉、蘑菇、培根等。
Crêpes Suzette $13.5
最後甜點點了這份現做的可麗餅
薄薄一片淋上柳橙奶油、拿破崙柑橘利口酒以及糖粉
雖然簡單不過口感相當不錯！
如果來訪納帕想吃法式小酒館風格的美食
Bistro Jeanty 是不錯的選擇
不過四個人嘗試多種餐點之後
最推薦前菜以及甜點
主餐四道都很普通不是必點。
最後結帳的時候服務生給錯帳單
一開始喵到我還以為只有一兩樣不對
結果發現全部都錯
詢問服務生他似乎也馬上說是不是給錯帳單了
就幫我們換回對的帳單~

辰砂有毒，胭脂是瘾，我们都迷醉在时间嫣红的迷宫里
Cinnabar Rouge, a second self-produced studio album, where Janet pays tribute to a genre that earned her title as Malaysia’s Shanghai Jazz Queen in this 12-track CD. Candidly claimed as a ‘Shanghai Jazz Fantasy Project’, the album carries ten covers and two original compositions by Tay Cher Siang with lyrics by Chiew Ruoh Peng – of three languages in the repertoire: Mandarin, Malay and French. The music director is Tay Cher Siang, jazz pianist, arranger, composer and band leader of WVC - Malaysia Jazz Ensemble. Janet worked with three renowned artistes and producers on vocal production, namely Winnie Ho, Isabell Jia Jia and Xie Songfan.
The music arrangements cover swing, ballad, retro and R&B – showing off Janet’s growing finesse in her musicality and vocals. This exquisitely designed album by Kongsi Design is both a visual and aural feast. The album includes a full color 80-page hardcover photo book that features images shot artfully by concept photographer Shah Azman, and features bilingual poems by poet Chiew Ruoh Peng.
《辰胭》是Janet Lee制作的第二张专辑。她有“大马上海爵士乐皇后”的美誉，戏称专辑是“上海爵士乐的奇幻旅程”，内有12首歌，除了10首华语、马来语、甚至法语老歌翻唱，还有两首由著名音乐人郑泽相作曲、周若鹏填词的原创作品。郑泽相也担任音乐制作，歌唱制作方面还有著名艺人、制作人何芸妮、潘沁珈及谢松汎联手打造。
编曲风格多样，有摇摆乐、民谣、复古及节奏蓝调，充分展现Janet愈趋成熟的歌艺。精致的专辑设计由"一亻一半"团队操刀，无论视觉、听觉都是一大享受。80页的全彩精装摄影集内不只有概念摄影师沙.阿兹曼的作品，还有诗人周若鹏撰写的双语新诗。

Wanted to do a cover on this classic since a long while ago.
You can hear me imitating the sound of the accordion with the harmonica to add a little Parisian flavour. Even more impressive on the vocal Ashley was singing the tune in French accompanied by the other young talent Kurtis Li on the acoustic guitar.
With the video being shot in one of the most elegant recording studio in Hong Kong, the Avon recording studio, the Eiffel towers now seem to be only right across the street.
And lastly, thank you Thomas on the mixing and videography!
