Le French GourMay is back! It’s the 10th anniversary & the theme is PROVENCE-ALPES-CÔTE D’AZUR! Attended the tasting at Renaissance hotel trying many local Southern France food & wine. Rose wine is the pride of S.France & Master of Wine Debra also challenged us to drink more rose wine! It’s perfect to match with seafood. I also tried the rose wine & oysters pairing at Bungalow during happy hour! With over 100 restaurants participating in GourMay’s food & wine pairing, let’s Explore the Southern France together this May!

法國五月,當然要抽點時間去追星, 一追法國米芝蓮星廚在香港芳踪。 早前便來到了 Brasserie on the Eighth 參與期間限定的 「法國嚐星之旅」嚐味晚餐, 由Chef Stéphane Gaborieau 和 Chef Georges Paccard攜手合作。
頭盤煙鯛薄片,以較厚身切法的煙鯛加重了口感,配上甜度高的香梨,鮮味昇華。 一道鴨肝雲吞,真的讓人齒頰留香, 陣陣鴨肝油香, 配上松露汁, 回味無窮。 還有水準甚高的香煎牛仔柳, 用上菠蘿的甜味,平衡牛仔柳的鹹香,又更帶出肉香, 美味!
