I believe strongly in a healthy mindset. Your mental and spiritual well being is just as important as your physical health. Being healthy is so much more than cooking right, popping supplements and exercising everyday.
Stress is a major factor that can affect you in many ways. There is good stress and bad stress. But we are in an age where we are constantly under stress and we may tend to go into the fight or flight response.
Emotional stress, relationships stress, work stress, financial stress, image stress, family stress.. la la la.
Sometimes these stress can manifest into habits that we do not want and becomes an issue for your health. Like suddenly overly eating or binging or not sleeping.
Unfortunately for me I fell into binge eating last year into the whee morning hours. Not great and definitely not healthy. But I thank God I had self awareness to realise that.
If you are going through something, don't be afraid to speak to someone. Our Asian culture sadly doesn't always encourage us to speak or share but please do if you need to.
