OCIC將興建鑽石島連通十里銀灘（Norea區域），OCIC目前有兩種選擇，第一是修建一座斜拉橋，全長約1000米，設有雙向四車道，耗資預計約6000萬至7000萬美元。第二是興建一條穿越湄公河地下隧道，同樣設有雙向四車道，全長約1000米，耗資高達2億美元。
OCIC豪擲20億美元打造甘東區新衛星城，OCIC在金邊市沿湄公河區域的Phum Kaoh Norea計劃投資20億美元建設超過100公頃的大型衛星城（十里銀灘），併計劃於2023年建成。該項目將成為柬華集團繼鑽石島項目後又一力作，未來將與鑽石島連接，成為城市中心的一部分。根據規劃方案，十里銀灘將分為四個板塊：世界級酒店休閒度假區、商務中心區、行政辦公區、生態居住區，OCIC將打造湄公河南岸濱水生態江景天際線，未來將集辦公、居住、酒店、商務、行政、購物、文化體驗等功能於一體。
根據柬越兩國交通部門達成的協議，金邊-胡志明高速公路將成為兩國區域經濟走廊，柬境內路段得到日本的資助已完成可研報告，按雙向6車道，時速120公里的標准進行設計。該高速公路項目完成後，從金邊至胡志明所需時間減少為2小時。
近年來，甘東新區（俗稱鐵橋頭區）正在迅速進入國際的視野，無論是從城市戰略規劃還是經濟樞紐角度來看，甘東新區都有著不可比擬的特殊地位和無限發展的潛力。
