A: Basking Shark. 象鮫，又名姥鯊，現今海洋中體型第二大的魚類，僅次於鯨鯊，和鯨鯊一樣，同屬於濾食性魚類。牠們行動緩慢，一般沒有危害及依靠浮游生物為食。 如同其他的大型鯊魚的處境，象鮫正面臨滅絕的危機，原因是其低繁殖力及遭過份捕殺，以供應世界各地對魚翅、魚肉、魚油及器官的需求。
