伍小姐:「每次月經來都覺得個人好虛弱,可以喝甚麼湯調補?」
CheckCheckCin:女生每月的月經都會耗失血液,可以趁月經前後調補身體,但要視乎體質症狀,因為月經失調問題有很多種類,如果經血量少、質稀、色淡紅,月經來潮時有容易頭暈、心悸、氣短、手腳麻痺等症狀,便屬於氣血虛弱型月經不適,宜補血益氣,適量食用黨參、北芪、紅棗、南棗、桂圓、枸杞子等補氣血食材,以及戒吃生冷及辛辣食物。如果不清楚自己的體質狀況,宜諮詢註冊中醫師了解。記得月經來潮時不宜補,待經期乾淨後才飲用。
五指毛桃桑寄生南棗甜湯
功效:益氣養血,適合氣血虛弱人士,紓緩心悸、容易頭暈、月經不調等症狀。
材料:新鮮淮山1根、五指毛桃20克、桑寄生15克、南棗4枚、枸杞子10克、冰糖適量
做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨備用。
2. 鍋中加入1500毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮1.5小時,最後下冰糖調味即可。

Jujube date sweet soup to nourish the qi and blood
“I feel weak every time I have my period. What soup can I drink to improve my body condition?”
CheckCheckCin: Women lose a lot of blood during menstruation, so we should nourish the body before that. Nonetheless, we need to make sure we nourish our body according to our body constitution.
If an individual experiences dizziness, heart palpitation, shortness of breath, and numbness of the limbs, and her period blood is diluted, low in quantity, and pinkish red in color, then the person has asthenic qi and blood. She should nourish the qi and blood by consuming an appropriate amount of Codonopsis root, Astragalus root, red date, jujube date, dried longan, and wolfberry. Also, avoid taking raw, cold, and spicy foods.
Individuals who are not sure about their body constitutions should consult licensed and registered Chinese physicians. Avoid nourishing the body during menstruation.
Hairy fig root and mulberry mistletoe stem sweet soup with south jujubes
Effects: Replenishes qi and nourishes blood, suitable for people with weak qi and blood. It can relieve heart palpitations, prone to dizziness, irregular periods.
Ingredients: 1 fresh Chinese yam, 20g hairy fig root, 15g, mulberry mistletoe stem, 4 south jujubes, 10g wolfberry, rock sugar to taste
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly.
2. Combine all ingredients with 1500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1.5 hours. Add rock sugar to taste.

Share this with new parents👇 Shi Quan Tonic Soup is a hearty, warming soup filled with intense flavours from the duck and pork trotters. The herbal and richness are nicely balanced with gentle sweetness from the wolfberries, making it a pleasant soup to have.
It’s more commonly drunk as a confinement soup but it is definitely beneficial to anyone who’s feeling under the weather, especially in the erratic weather we’ve been having in SouthEast Asia.

Shi Quan 十全 ($12 worth of Chinese herbs from Chinese medical hall)
25g Wolfberries
1 Duck (approx. 2.5kg)
1 Pork trotter (approx. 1kg) (cut into circular sections)
4 Litres
Salt to taste

Rehmannia glutinosa (熟地黄)
Codonopsis pilosula / root (党参)
Astragalus (炙黄芪)
Chuan xiong rhizome (川芎)
Angelica (当归 )

曬後清熱消暑湯
夏天與陽光玩遊戲後,就算沒有曬傷或中暑,感受了暑熱之邪,都有機會出現頭暈、頭痛、胸悶、口乾、疲倦等不適症狀,是因為身體一時間未能散走熱氣所致,所以曬後不妨飲用有清熱消暑功效的湯水,夏天瓜果當造,常見的冬瓜、老黃瓜、節瓜、合掌瓜等均有清熱消暑功效,配搭有解暑熱、清頭目、降脂減肥功效的荷葉煲成湯水,特別適合夏天消暑飲用。
食材小貼士:
茯苓性平,有健脾滲濕、安神功效,適合各種體質人士食用。
西洋菜冬瓜薏米湯
功效:清熱利濕、消腫減肥,紓緩身體四肢困重、肥胖等症狀。
材料:西洋菜1束(約1斤)、冬瓜連皮600克(約1斤)、乾瑤柱3-4枚、生薏米30克、茯苓15克、蜜棗2枚
做法:
1. 所有材料洗淨,西洋菜常藏有小昆蟲,以鹽水泡二十分鐘,再沖水備用。冬瓜連皮切大塊備用。
2. 鍋中加入2500毫升水,放入全部材料,武火煮至水滾,調文火煮1小時,最後下鹽調味即可。

Soup to clear heat after sun exposure
We might not develop a sunburn or heat stroke after playing under the hot summer sun, but there is a high chance for us to feel dizzy, get a headache, have tightness on the chest, experience dryness in the mouth, and feel exhausted after being exposed to the pathogenic factor of the summer-heat, as the body is not able to effectively dissipate heat under such a condition.
It would be great to consume soup that can clear the summer-heat. Melons and gourds such as winter melon, old cucumber, zucchini, and Gassho melon are harvested during summer. They all have heat-clearing properties and are suitable ingredients to make soup with lotus leaf, which can dissipate the summer-heat, clear the mind and brighten vision, and lower the cholesterol levels. This soup is especially suitable for individuals to consume during the hot summer season.
Tips on ingredient:
Poria with Hostwood is mild-natured. Calms the heart and mind, strengthens the spleen. Suitable for all body types.
Astragalus root and blighted wheat soup with millet
Effects: clears heat and dispels dampness. Reduces bloating and aids weight loss. Relieves symptoms such as fatigue, heavy limbs and fat.
Ingredients: 1 bunch of watercress(around 1 catty), 600g winter melon with skin(around 1 catty), 3-4 dried scallop, 30g coix seed, 15g poria with hostwood, 2 candied dates
Preparation:
1. Rinse all ingredients thoroughly. Watercress is prone to small insects so soak in salt water for 20 minutes, then rinse again with regular water. Cut the winter melon into large chunks.
2. Combine all ingredients with 2500ml of water in a pot and cook on high heat until boiling. Turn to low heat and simmer for 1 hour. Add salt to taste.

鮑魚湯汁 1罐 abalone stock 1can
吉品鮑魚 2顆 abalone 2pcs
白米 1杯 rice 1cup
水 6杯 water 6cup
作法
1. 白米洗淨後放入內鍋中,加入一整罐的鮑魚湯汁與水。(小字—替你熬出鮮味的湯汁,又鮮又濃郁)
2. 放入萬用鍋或電鍋中煮成粥。
3. 起鍋前加點蔥花,再放上整顆鮑魚。(\不用再調味,就夠鮮)
煮飯
標:讓每顆米飯都吸滿鮑魚的鮮甜
材料
鮑魚湯汁 1罐 abalone stock 1can
吉品鮑魚丁 4顆 abalone 4pcs
白米 2.5杯 rice 2.5cup
水 1.5杯 water 1.5cup
作法
1. 白米洗淨後放入內鍋中,加入一整罐的鮑魚湯汁與水。(\鮑魚湯汁代替部分水更香濃)
2. 放入萬用鍋或電鍋中煮成飯。
3. 起鍋時加入鮑魚丁拌勻。(\
4. 想吃得更豐盛可以再放一整顆的鮑魚。
煮麵
標:免煮湯頭加點鮑魚湯汁就夠味
材料
鮑魚湯汁 適量 abalone stock q.s.
吉品鮑魚 1顆 abalone 1pcs
麵 1把 noodles 1handful
煮麵水 適量 noodles water q.s.
作法
1. 將煮好的麵放入碗中,加入適量的煮麵水。
2. 放上鮑魚與鮑魚湯汁調味即可。\
燉養生雞湯
標:釋出鮑魚鮮味 每口湯都好好喝
材料 (3盅份量)
鮑魚湯汁 1罐 abalone stock 1can
吉品鮑魚 4顆 abalone 4pcs
雞肉 450公克 chicken 450g
水 適量 water q.s.
枸杞 6公克 goji berry 6g
當歸 6公克 dong quai 6g
黃耆 6公克 astragalus root 6g
川芎 3公克 chuanxiong 3g
蔘片 3片 ginseng 3pcs
作法
1. 將雞肉放入燉盅,加入中藥材、吉品鮑魚與鮑魚湯汁。\
2. 加入水蓋過雞肉,再放入電鍋中,外鍋加兩杯水。
3. 燉煮至完成即可。

麻油雞湯
材料:
土雞肉塊650g chicken thigh
米酒150g cooking rice wine
水500㏄ water
老薑片30g aged ginger
黑麻油2大匙 black sesame oil
作法:
1.將土雞肉塊洗淨後,用沸水略汆燙去血水雜質。
2.選擇「再加熱」功能,加熱幾分鐘待鍋熱後,放入黑麻油與老薑片炒至微焦香。
3.加入土雞肉塊略拌勻,再加入米酒與水。
4.蓋上鍋蓋,選擇「燉煮」功能(45分鐘),待行程結束即可。
人參雞湯
材料:
土雞肉塊650g chicken thigh

水500㏄ water
中藥材:
蔘鬚15g ginseng
紅棗5顆 red date

烏骨雞肉塊650g silkie chicken thigh
米酒150g cooking rice wine
水500㏄ water
中藥材:
何首烏15g heshouwu
黃耆10g astragalus root
川芎3g chuanxiong
當歸5g dong quai
黑棗5顆 black date
甘草2g licorice
枸杞10g goji berry
桂圓肉10g dried longan
作法:
1.將烏骨雞肉塊洗淨後,用沸水略汆燙去血水雜質。
2.將雞肉塊、中藥材、米酒和水放入電鍋內鍋中。
3.蓋上鍋蓋,選擇「燉煮」功能(45分鐘),待行程結束即可。
