จีนเผย เตรียมใช้ AI-ปัญญาประดิษฐ์วินิจฉัยมะเร็งเต้านม

ในวันนี้ (7 ก.ค. 60) ศูนย์วิจัยทางคลินิกเพื่อมะเร็งแห่งชาติจีน เผยว่าทางศูนย์ได้ลงนามข้อตกลงสถาบันเทคโนโลยีการคำนวณ (Institute of Computing Technology)ภายใต้สถาบันวิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติจีน เพื่อนำระบบปัญญาประดิษฐ์มาใช้ในงานสร้างภาพทางการแพทย์ (medical imaging) เพื่อการวินิจฉัยมะเร็งเต้านมโดยเฉพาะ
โดยการนำ AI มาใช้ เริ่มแรกจะนำมาช่วยในการอ่านข้อมูลผลอัลตราซาวด์เต้านม และ การตรวจเต้านมด้วยแมมโมกราฟฟี่ (Mammography) ซึ่งเป้าหมายคือเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและความแม่นยำในการวินิจฉัยรวมถึงการคัดกรองผู้เป็นมะเร็งเต้านมในพื้นที่ห่างไกลที่ขาดแคลนบุคลากรทางการแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญในการโรคมะเร็ง กล่าวคือในอนาคต สามารถใช้ AI ในการตรวจมะเร็งเต้านมแทนแพทย์ผู้เชี่ยวชาญได้
ศาสตราจารย์ Zhao Yi แห่งสถาบันวิทยาศาสตร์แห่งชาติจีน กล่าวว่า "เรานำการเรียนรู้เชิงลึก หรือ Deep learning มาเป็นเทคโนโลยีเบื้องหลังของระบบ มาสร้างเป็นโมเดล โดยเรียนรู้จากข้อมูลผลวินิจฉัยและประสบการณ์ของรังสีแพทย์ (radiologist) จำนวนมากซึ่งให้ข้อมูล Big data มาสร้างเป็นโมเดล
ในการวินิจฉัยมะเร็งเต้านมด้วยระบบนี้ ศาสตราจารย์ Zhao Yi ให้ข้อมูลเพิ่มเติมว่า "ระบบจะวิเคราะห์จากฐานข้อมูลขนาดใหญ่ที่เก็บผลการตรวจมะเร็งเต้านมจำนวนมาก ดังที่กล่าวไปข้างต้น ซึ่งระบบจะวินิจฉัยออกมาในเวลาไม่กี่วินาที
มะเร็งเต้านมเป็นโรคมะเร็งที่พบมากในผู้หญิงจีน โดยเมื่อปี 2015 มีผู้ป่วยใหม่ที่เป็นมะเร็งเต้านม เกิดขึ้น 272,000 ราย และเสียชีวิตมากกว่า 71,000 ราย
Hao Xishan ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์วิจัยทางคลินิกเพื่อมะเร็งแห่งชาติจีน เผยว่า หากเราสามารถตรวจพบมะเร็งเต้านมได้ตั้งแต่ระยะแรกๆ 95%ของผู้ป่วย สามารถรักษาให้หายได้ ซึ่งในพื้นที่ห่างไกลและชนบทของจีน ผู้ป่วยมักจะถูกตรวจพบเมื่อสายไปแล้ว ระบบนี้จึงเข้ามาช่วยแก้ปัญหาได้
ทั้งนี้ยังไม่เป็นที่แน่ชัดว่าจะมีการนำระบบนี้มาใช้เมื่อใด หากมีข้อมูลเพิ่มเติม อ้ายจงจะรีบนำมาเล่าครับ
