當舊鞋救命踏入肯亞，走進村莊，我們不希望是以觀光客的眼光來觀察貧困，而是以朋友的角度來扶持彼此。
這次舊鞋救命宣教志工們不只是帶著福音的盼望進入村落，更是花了一點時間和當地的非洲媽媽們相處，一起取水，一起燒材煮飯，甚至一起用牛糞鋪地。在一陣歡笑當中，我們熟悉了彼此的文化，也更清楚如何幫助解決當地居民們所面對的挑戰。
