I recently had the chance to travel to Jiali, Tainan, where I took part in the Xiao Long Xiang Festival (蕭壠香). This is a great example of the unique cultural history of Taiwan. You never know what's around the next corner, and I feel lucky to have been able to participate in this boat burning festival, which occurs only once every three years.
