Firstly, I just wanna say thanks to all of you guys who have stuck by me, by Rustyshoes92 since the beginning. Think of this revamp as a step forward where I've made Rustyshoes92 grow into what I hope and want it to be- a representation of me as a person. Through this process I've figured out exactly what I want my channel to be, what I want to do with it and how I'm going to manage it. Nothing much will change in terms of content. Think of it as me switching things up once in a while, and touching on topics that aren't necessarily beauty related. Think of it as me learning and experimenting how and what I can do to make my videos better for you guys and for myself as well.
Another part of this channel that I want to stress on is how I hope and want it to inspire others. I think that as long as I inspire one person out of the 1,600 subscribers I have, it's enough for me. I want to inspire others to be comfortable with their own skin, and to never stop learning and seeking knowledge. I want to share what I know (about makeup and other stuff as well) and my experiences with you guys.
In a recent interview I did with Michelle Phan, I realised what I was lacking in my channel and that was vision. I didn't have a solid understanding of the sense of purpose of why I make videos on YouTube in the first place.
Now I do.
