【風土各表：Rioja葡萄酒的反思】

Bodega Lanzaga是一間強調風土的Rioja酒廠，不過Telmo Rodríguez自帶主角光環，目前整個西班牙他的幾個相關酒廠風風火火，加上他長的實在帥，說他是新一代西班牙釀酒師的代表應該很中肯。

在西班牙談風土是人人有話講也人人霧煞煞，從Tempranillo談風土的話或許是個切入點：Tempranillo在西班牙很普遍，但不是適於各種土壤類型，首先Tempranillo適合Limestone，再一個重要的原因是同樣是Limestone，較低的雨量一般造成土壤pH值更高而更適合Tempranillo。也因此以Tempranillo的品質來看區域，通常會說Rioja Alavesa為佳，此區主力土壤為Clay-limestone calcareous，年雨量500mm，優質葡萄園一般在450m以上，當然也要看座向位置等其他條件。不過任何一個偉大地塊若僅憑「資料」，無論那一國還是那個產區，都不足以說明其偉大之處。今天喝到的單一園我也沒拿到完整的Soil profile與地形圖，但邏輯判斷總歸有點幫助。

Telmo Rodríguez在Bodega Lazaga想表達是相同於布根地的風土哲學，他也不是唯一的一個，這也是RIoja公會新制中改變最大也最被詬病的一塊：公會一次提出了144個單一園Viñedo Singular (VS)，實際上是無法落實。第三波Rioja的風土潮／單一園通常由各個釀酒師提出作品，通常量少又不見得有年份穩定性與連續性，對市場而言的現狀是：沒喝過／不知道什麼風格／很貴（跟同區相比）／產量很少／分數高／只有酒評家在讚聲（酒評家在此時很重要）。而這144個葡萄園還不是每個都有authorited的作品，是不是很搞不懂呢？

根據National Post 2016年由John Szabo MS執筆的一篇Telmo Rodríguez專訪，他的單一園觀點似乎以敵對我們熟知的Rioja風格為訴求：他認為La Rioja Alta、Castillo Ygay和Lopez de Heredia都是工業釀酒廠，大型生產設施，與該地區早期的傳統幾乎沒有關係；他認為波爾多的技術資本引入摧毀了Rioja的真實風格，是一場錯誤；他說「Rioja從此走錯方向」。我這裡沒有引用他所有的觀點，但我想問的是：今天Rioja的「傳統」風格是否真的一無是處？是否真的完全沒有反映Rioja的風土？跨園跨區跨品種混釀真的這麼罪大惡極？Rioja的風格難道一點沒有西班牙的文化與民族性格關聯？酒質好不好是否也要考慮政治正確？

Rioja據資料有超過一萬個葡萄園，可以標示單一園Viñedo Singular (VS)需遵守下列法規：

★ 葡萄藤必須35年以上
★ 葡萄園最大產量比一般Rioja法定要求低至少20％
★ 葡萄重量與葡萄汁的最大比例為1/0.65
★ 必須人工採收
★ 葡萄酒必須通過兩次品嚐並獲得標準以上的分數才能標示單一園

所以在技術性要求上完全沒問題，問題在於各個地塊的風格到底是什麼？技術性要求並不等同風格與風土。你不會因為鍋子大火力強台灣豬貴貴就說菜一定好吃吧？如果認真追究，某單一園在過去根本沒有釀造而只是賣葡萄給酒廠，現在的釀造者卻說他「承繼」「發揚」 地塊的榮耀？會不會太矯情了點？

我是不知道這個報導是不是完全傳達了他的意思，但至少我們知道Telmo Rodríguez選擇留在公會制度下（細思極恐）。2017年通過的Rioja單一園法定制度，就是他聯合當地150多名釀酒師、酒商和葡萄酒作家聯名向政府請願後得到的。不過2015年離開了公會制度管轄的Artadi毋寧可作為另一個參考：Artadi的Valdegines與La Poza來自谷地兩側有數十公尺落差的葡萄園，一直是我認為Rioja「單一園」風格的典範，各年份具有連續性的辨識度，個別作品的水準亦不俗。我覺得任何的「單一園」，無論在哪個國家或產區，最珍貴的是累積而成的「辨識度」，是一個具體且長遠的「獨特」風味，不然是不是辜負大家對「單一園」的期待了呢！

風土不是是非題，風土應該是一個隨時間而拓展的觀點而不是一言堂。先有「單一園」再去生產合規的作品有點像是先射箭再畫靶，若是地塊有長期連續可辨識的風格再劃歸制度中是不是更有說服力？西班牙已經有了個不算成功的Vino de Pago，若是人為因素無法突破，制度還要考慮勢力利益，那麼制度就難以保證其目的了。也許公會以及所有期待Rioja Single Vineyard的各位可以多思考這些單一園是Certified還是Candidates。

80% Garnacha. Deep purple. Cool herbaceous, rose pedal, fine and delicate, polished, red flower and red fruits. Slim, juicy but bold in tannin. Not enough in length and complexity now. Need 3+ yo develop. 2024~2034

Tabuerniga 2017
Deep purple, ferment beans, sun-dry vegetable, black pepper, and other pungent spices. Polished, solid, fresh black fruits show some clean in depth. Could expect its development in another 5+ yo.

慎防蔬菜類發物
但凡患有濕疹、瘡、疥、癬等皮膚病，長輩們都會苦口婆心叮囑不要吃牛、鵝、鴨、蝦、蟹、無鱗魚等食物，以免加重病情，這些食物中醫稱之為「發物」，發物有助邪的意思，是指能引起舊患復發、將新病加重的食物，患有暗瘡、濕疹、風疹、皮膚病或容易過敏人士要避免食用。以為多吃蔬菜就萬無一失？！其實蔬菜類亦有不少動風、助火及生痰滯氣發物，容易誘發皮膚瘡瘍腫毒，要小心留意，避免皮膚病發作。

常見蔬菜類發物：
茄子 — 為動風發物，性涼，有清熱活血，寬腸通便的功效，適合三高及有痔瘡人士食用。正因其性涼，脾胃虛寒易腹瀉，有皮膚病如濕疹或皮膚過敏、哮喘、癌症、紅斑狼瘡症患者不宜。

竹筍 — 為動風發物，性涼，具清熱化痰、利二便功效，由於筍含豐富纖維，所以具通便效果。惟注意竹筍容易透發或加重皮膚瘡瘍腫毒症狀，皮膚敏感、濕疹患者或容易出風癩者不宜吃。

菇菌 — 為動風食品，一般性平或偏涼，生長在潮濕陰暗處，屬於濕氣重的食物。

南瓜 — 為生痰滯氣發物，性溫，有補中益氣、解毒消腫、潤肺益氣、平喘化痰的功效，對久病後氣虛、乏力、便溏及脾胃虛弱尤其適合。由於屬性溫熱，本身有胃熱、濕熱、氣滯，及易有胃脹的人就要少吃。

芋頭 — 為生痰滯氣發物，性平，能健脾胃及化痰散結，適合淋巴腫大、婦女乳腺增生者服用。脾胃氣虛及有習慣性便秘等人士都適合。

洋蔥 — 為助火發物，性溫，具祛風發汗、行氣化痰、降血壓、降血脂功效，特別適合風寒感冒患者食用。便秘、發熱口渴、皮膚瘡癢、濕疹患者等不宜進食。

韭菜 — 為助火發物，性熱，具健胃暖中、溫腎助陽、散瘀活血功效，適合偏寒體質、陽虛怕冷、腰膝酸軟、男士陽事衰弱、尿頻人士；女士陽氣不足以致行經小腹冷痛食用。由於性熱，陰虛火旺者不宜食用。

薑 — 為助火發物，薑性溫，有發汗散寒、溫中止嘔的功效，對於虛寒體質如陽虛的人士尤其適合，可紓緩因風寒感冒而引起的怕冷頭痛、胃寒引起的胃痛，以及虛寒型經痛等症狀。

蔥 — 為助火發物，性溫，有發汗解表、健胃殺菌、通陽氣散陰寒的作用，能紓緩初起的風寒感冒、鼻敏感、頭痛、胃寒等症狀。體質偏熱、陰虛火旺人士不宜多吃。

蒜 — 為助火發物，性溫，具暖脾胃、行滯氣、降血脂、殺菌功效，適合感冒病人食用，能舒緩初起的風寒感冒、食滯等症狀。由於屬性溫熱，陰虛火旺、身體有偏熱症狀如口瘡、暗瘡、喉嚨痛者不宜食用。

Beware of vegetables that are stimulating
The elders will often advise young people not to eat beef, goose, duck, prawn, crab, and fish without scales if they suffer from skin diseases like eczema, scab, scabies, and ringworm. Eating these foods, they believe, can exacerbate the problems.

According to Chinese physicians, these foods can trigger pathogenic factors to react, causing a relapse of a pre-existing condition and, to a certain extent, might worsen the problem. Individuals with acne, eczema, rubella, and sensitive skin or any skin diseases should avoid eating them.

How about vegetables? In fact, there are certain vegetables that can also induce phlegm, stagnate the qi, and lead to heat accumulation in the body, triggering old wounds to relapse. To prevent skin diseases from occurring, we have to be extra mindful.

Common stimulating vegetables:
Eggplant – wind activated stimulant. Cool in nature, can clear heat and promote blood circulation, loosen the bowels to relieve constipation. Suitable for those with hyperglycemia, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, haemorrhoids. Because of its cold nature, those with asthenic and cold spleen and stomach, those prone to diarrhea, skin diseases such as eczema or skin allergies, and those with asthma, cancer, and lupus should not eat.

Bamboo shoots - wind activated stimulant. Cool in nature, can clear heat and relieve phlegm and is healthy for urine and bowel movement. The high fibre content can relieve constipation. Please note bamboo shoot is a wind activated stimulant and can trigger skin sores issues so those skin allergy, eczema, and those prone to hives should avoid.

Mushroom - wind activated stimulant. Generally mild or cool in nature. It grows in a humid and dark place, and it has heavy dampness.

Pumpkin - food that induces phlegm and qi stagnation. Warm in nature, can replenish vital energy and strengthen qi, detoxify and relieve swelling, and moisten the lungs. It has healing effects to relieve asthma and decrease phlegm. It is especially suitable for those recovering from chronic illness with qi deficiency, those with loose stool and asthenic spleen and stomach. Although it is full of benefits and nutrients, pumpkins are warm in nature, so those with heat in stomach, damp heat, qi stagnation, or prone to abdominal bloating should avoid pumpkins.

Taro - food that induces phlegm and qi stagnation. Mild in nature, can strengthen the spleen and stomach and reduce phlegm. It is suitable for those with lymphatic swelling and eccyclomastoma. Those with asthenic spleen and stomach or chronic constipation can also have taro.

Onion - fire activated stimulant. Warm in nature, can dispel wind and promote perspiration, promote qi circulation and relieve phlegm, lower blood pressure and blood Iipids. It is especially suitable for those with cold-wind flu. Those with constipation, heat and thirst, itchy skin, sores on skin and eczema should avoid.

Chives - fire activated stimulant. Hot in nature, can warm the stomach, warm the kidneys and nourish yang, relieve bruising and promote blood circulation. Suitable for those with cold body types, yang deficiency, aversion to cold, weak and sore lower back and knees, men with frequent urination, insufficient yang qi that leads to abdominal pain. Due to its hot nature, those with asthenic yin should avoid.

Ginger - fire activated stimulant. Warm in nature, has the effects to promote perspiration and dispel cold, warm the body and relieve vomiting. It is especially suitable for those with asthenic cold body types such as yang deficiency, as it can relieve aversion to cold and headache caused by cold wind flu, stomach pain caused by cold stomach, and asthenic cold type menstrual pain.

Spring onion - fire activated stimulant. Warm in nature. Induces sweating, activates yang qi to dispel yin chill. Relieves early symptoms of wind-chill flu, nasal allergies, headaches, and cold stomach. Not suitable for those with heat-related symptoms, with yin deficiency and excessive internal heat.

Garlic - fire activated stimulant. Warm in nature, can warm both the spleen and the stomach, improve qi stagnation, and help relieve cold and flu at the initial stage. Nevertheless, individuals with heat related symptoms should not consume garlic, such as canker sores, acne and sore throat.

Look at the stocks you own. Can you tell me why you've got them? If you can't answer the following three questions, then have a look at several I like right now.

We've endured the meme stock craziness, with all of its love for heavily shorted stocks. We have watched the collapse of bitcoin to levels viewed as shocking, even if they are still more than double where they were not that long ago. We've dealt with Fed officials making it clear that they are no longer on the side of the bulls or the bears. They are on the side of job growth, but are wary of inflation. We've seen the end of the rush to get vaccines, which means that millions of people are going to get the new COVID variant, because there is no natural immunity to it. We've watched as the hopes for an infrastructure bill have collapsed. We've endured shortages of everything from chips to plastic to imported goods and labor.

And we're still standing, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Yep, we are in one of those halcyon moments, where the masks are off -- even if they shouldn't be -- and Americans are back doing what they do best: consume, spend, go out to eat and then consume and spend some more.

There are times in the stock market where the collective mindset is revealed. This is one of those times: Things are cool, it's not a big moment, there's no real news for a bit, it's the historically strong period and we can reach some conclusions about where we are.

When things are like this, it is important to remember that buyers like to revert to tried-and-true companies that thrive no matter what. These are companies that have an edge and are better at what they do than other companies.

You know that I am a great believer in index funds, that the average person doesn't have the time or the inclination to research individual stocks. It's a difficult barrier. I think you need to make time to read the quarterly report and listen to the conference call, to Google articles and, if possible, get some research about the companies you own. It is vital that you know what you own, that if I asked you on the street why you like a certain stock, you can give me three reasons. If you don't know how they make their money, who their key clients are and what they make if, then I will tell you that you are over your head and should not own individual stocks. I am reminded by this, because, once again, without a mask, I can be recognized and if I am not holding "Nvidia the Second," I can carry on a conversation.

I have had many in the last two weeks and when I have asked this litany of questions, I find myself at a loss as to why almost no one knew what they owned. But they thirsted for individual stocks, because they, like me, think things are better post pandemic. No, that's not a facetious comment. Many, many stocks did better with a stay-at-home economy. A huge number.

So what do I do? I revert to what others do when you are stumped about how to stay in touch with stocks, but want to do less homework. That means buying stocks that are accessible, not stocks like Unity (U) or Snowflake (SNOW) or Twilio (TWLO) or Okta (OKTA) .

I revert to normal businesses people know and I suggest they Google some articles, peruse the conference call, but, above all, like the company's products so you can buy more if it goes down.

Here's some that I have been telling people I like:

First is Ford (F) . I think the Ford lineup is amazing. The electric F-150 series will be incredible. I am eager to get a Maverick for my family, because it is a smaller pickup that will get the job done for the myriad little things I need to do with this farm I bought from that crazy bitcoin foray. I like the competitive edge of the CEO, who says he is going to bury Elon Musk when the Lightning comes out. I even think the Bronco is cool as all get out. Most important, though? I think the chip shortage is ending. My semiconductor friends are telling me the foundries are producing more feature-rich chips and that means Ford can pump out the trucks small business people love and need. Plus, the used car prices at last have plateaued, according to their most important pricing index. Halcyon times.

Second, Costco (COST) : The samples are coming back. Tell me you don't love the samples. You need things in bulk. You want low prices. You want to get all of the things that people don't think of with Costco, like insurance, hearing-aids -- hey, they are a fortune -- jewelry, things around the house. You go and you will buy far more than you first came for. My kind of store.

The kids love this American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) , which we just bought for my charitable trust, which you can follow along by joining the Action Alerts PLUS club. Jay Schottenstein, the CEO, came on "Mad Money" recently and it's clear that his Aerie model has real staying power: 26 consecutive quarters of double digit growth. No flash in the pan, that one. Number one brand in jeans for the 15 to 25 year old group. The best in the mall. How did I know this? I see the credit card bills.

I got up this morning to do my physical therapy. I have been doing it ever since I hurt my back in February. I have this really cool pair of sneakers that fit me perfectly and I love them, but I am fortunate enough to have a vacation house and I am always taking those shoes with me.

So I went on Amazon (AMZN) this morning and lo and behold I saw them for half price. I bought two pairs. Then I went over everything I have bought in the last year and got a bunch of those things. Then I bought a pair of binoculars, because mine were stolen. I paid half price.

Yep, Amazon's universal. I was talking to Alexa, while I was ordering, getting some new music on, asking questions. I saw that despite all of the Sturm und Drang of Amazon being late with things, all the delivery dates were within range. I didn't click on any ads, and I didn't need the speed of Web Services, but the whole thing reminded me about how special the darned company is. I don't care if it's ahead or behind plan for the moment. I would just buy some more when it goes down.

Finally, Apple (AAPL) . I think people who don't own Apple should look what they are holding at this very moment. Yes, right now. Or look at what's in your lap or on the table besides your fork. And then think about the bill you paid last night without knowing it. Think about what you bought in the App store yesterday. Think about what would happen if it would break or get stolen or, left in the Uber (UBER) , or heaven forbid, be dropped into the pool or in the, yes, toilet.

There, that's what you buy in halcyon times. Stocks of companies you know that if they go lower, because things get less halcyon, you are fine with it and buy more. If things go up, believe me, you will participate.

So accept the moment. Don't try for the hard money. Go for the easy kind. That's the best kind.

クレイユーキーズのセカンドシングル。「RUNWAY」は、クレイ勇輝、Kafu Sato、杉本雄治(WEAVER)、真船勝博、小笠原拓海、Martin Johnson(OAU)が参加し、女性ヴォーカリストで登美丘高等学校ダンス部元キャプテンの伊原六花を迎え、前作「世界から音が消えた日 with DAZBEE」とは違ったダンサブルなLO-FI HIPHOPチューンとなっている。ファーストシングルとセカンドシングルの色が全然違う変幻自在感もクレイユーキーズを追いかける一つの楽しみになりそうだ。

It has been over 4years since Yuki Kurei's break up with his preveous band "Kimaguren".
For people who are not aware of this band...
There first major album made No.1 on the chart,
and have been on the most famous Japanese TV show NHK Kouhaku in 2008.
They have played with many top Japanese bands as well Jason Mraz, BOY II MEN and more!

"KureiYuki’s" is Yuki's new band that he put together 4 years ago.
This a.k.a. avengers-ish band, is named this way because of the members involved.
The bands core members include Yuki Kurei from ex.Kimaguren, Kafu Sato known for writing “Arekara” by AI-Hibari Misora from NHK Kouhaku 2019, and OKP-STAR from ex.Aqua Timez.
Other than the core members, all sorts of musicians from different bands have joined!
Such as yui from Flower Flower, Martin Johnson from OAU, Yuji Sugimoto from WEAVER and so forth.
One of the things the fans look forward to, is the variety of the musicians that join each gig.
