準大學生小春即將迎來十八歲生日，剩沒幾天就要離家就學的她，眼中閃爍著對未來的期
待。就在生日前一夜，她發現了一個祕密。景色依舊，但她眼中卻只剩徬徨。在一片黑暗
之中，生日蛋糕上的燭光映入她幽暗的心，她許了什麼願呢？五天拍攝期，三天導演都有
哭，30個版本才定剪A20版劇本A六次take完成最後的一鏡到底。《姊姊》是長片計畫
《我家的事》的第一個故事。
It is the last day before Hsiao-Chun’s 18th birthday, as she prepares to
leave her hometown and become a college freshman. In her eyes, a sparkle
reveals a bright future awaiting for her as she is about to leave her old
room which she shares with a noisy and tormenting younger brother, Little
Hsia.
That night, she overhears a secret which will change the way she looks at her
family and herself. Even if she thinks she might miss how Little Hsia keeps
making fun of her, she realizes suddenly that maybe she doesn’t even have
the right to miss him. In the dark, as the candle light on the birthday cake
approach her gloomy heart, what wish will she make for herself?
