When people ask me what is The Chill Mom all about, I’ve always been able to explain verbally but I somehow can’t articulate as well in written words. So bear with me.

The idea that motherhood is a tired life, a hard life, a life which we look forward to when the kids go to bed and a life where we need a glass of wine to get through the day, don’t sit well with me. Yes, motherhood can be hard but it isn’t joyless.

The Chill Mom isn’t about letting your standard drop and being really easy going on child rearing. Instead, it’s about knowing exactly what your priorities are and what you shouldn’t bother.

I believe a mom can have it all, if only we stop trying to do it all. A chill mom doesn’t try to be a supermom. She does what’s good enough for her and her family, according to her own standard and aspiration.

I know it sounds philosophical at the moment but it is what I live by. I’m working to put together a system, for you to overcome the overwhelm and live a happier, more fulfilling mom life.
