AIT文化官馬明遠 (Luke Martin) 於7月14日在AIT與 Beyond Taiwan 的成員會面。這是一個學生自發性組織，目的在幫助台灣高中生了解美國教育系統如何運作、如何申請、以及美國大學學位的珍貴價值。這個組織的導師群，根據他們過往自身申請的經驗，用一對一、講座、和線上座談方式幫助年輕高中生。留學美國EducationUSA的顧問也參加了他們最近舉辦的線上留學展，跟超過300位以上的學生互動。我們非常感激有很多像是Beyond Taiwan的組織跟我們一樣致力推動美國教育的優勢 — 這些優勢不只是美國教育的品質或是因留學而開啟的職涯大門，也包括學生能因留學經驗到的豐富文化機會。根據美國國務院2020「門戶開放」（Open Doors）報告，2019-2020年度台灣有7,385名學生在美國念大學，大約比前一學年度增加2%！你想要念什麼科系？你夢想念什麼學校？歡迎留言告訴我們！

On July 14th, AIT Cultural Affairs Officer Luke Martin met with Beyond Taiwan, a student-led organization that helps Taiwan high school students understand how the U.S. education system works, how to apply, and why a U.S. college degree is so valuable. Based on their own college application experience, Beyond Taiwan’s network of mentors hold one-on-one and sessions and webinars. EducationUSA participated in their recent virtual student fair, which reached more than 300 students online. We are grateful for organizations like Beyond Taiwan that share our commitment for promoting the benefits of education in the United States – not just for the quality of the education or the career doors it will open, but also because of the rich cultural opportunities that students get to experience. Based on the 2020 Open Doors report, 7,385 undergraduate students from Taiwan studied in the U.S.A. in 2019-20, approximately a 2% increase from the previous academic year. EducationUSA Taiwan will hold a pre-departure information session for all students departing for fall semester 2021. Two EducationUSA advisers will explain the visa application process, travel arrangements, necessary materials and documents for arrival, as well as how to report to your school, health insurance, food and culture, transportation options, housing, and more.

AIT works with Fulbright Scholarly Foundation (FSE) for EducationUSA services.
