Saba fish (also known as mackerel) is awesome for grilling or pan frying as they have good amount of fat content and one of the easiest fish to be cooked! Cook the fillets until the skin turns crispy and serve it over a bed of sliced onions on a hot plate while it sizzles in the sweet and savory garlic soy sauce.
This dish is definitely visually pleasing and delicious - if you don’t have a hot plate, stir fry the sliced onions together with the garlic soy sauce on a pan will suffice! Then add the crispy Saba fillets on top before serving.
