30 July is the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons - the United Nations. I stand in support of ending human trafficking around the world.
Trafficking in persons is a serious crime and a grave violation of human rights. I am proud to share that I am part of DELETED 越界, an upcoming original film written and produced in support of the global fight against human trafficking.
With the support of the Malaysia Ministry of Home Affairs — MAPO- National Council of Anti-Trafficking and Anti-Smuggling of Migrants, as well as JHAMS (9 NGOs), it is our hope that we can raise awareness through the film.
DELETED 越界 is coming soon!

world day against trafficking in persons 在 Chris Lau Facebook 的精選貼文
Check out Chris Lau in this video again okay! 2 weeks ago I was invited for a 'secretive' social experiment, Dining with Amnesty. It was an event organized by Amnesty International Malaysia in conjunction of World Day Against the Death Penalty. I didn't know what's going on before the event, but Amnesty International was inviting me, of course I went la! XD It's actually about what the criminals were doing before they were executed, eating, kind of like the last supper or the last dinner. In Malaysia, the death penalty is the mandatory and thus the only punishment available to the courts for persons convicted of murder, for trafficking in narcotics in various amounts, and for discharging a firearm during the commission of various crimes, even if no-one is hurt. By September 2012, it appeared that there were 924 people under sentence of death on ''death row" in Malaysia, 648 of them having been sentenced for drug-trafficking. Latest number is yet to be updated. Watch this video for more!
Do we take our food for granted? #NoDeathPenalty
