Attended The Glenrothes & Bonhams Hong Kong preview of the oldest whisky of The Glenrothes 50 years old, they only have 50 bottles and the auction bottle is no. 38. All proceeds will go to charity. The lucky person can also go to visit the distillery (not open for public). The auction price is estimated at HK$230000-$300000. I also tried 5 whiskies at the preview, including The Glenrothes Whisky Maker’s Cut ,The Glenrothes 30 years old, The Glenrothes Vintage 1992, bottled 2014 、The Glenrothes Single Cask #12103, 22 years old and The Glenrothes Vintage 1978, Bottled 2008.
