Some people ask me if I like【Yakiniku Great, originally from Tokyo 🇯🇵】Sheung Wan or H Code SOHO shop better?

Actually for taste its similar enough despite different managements, very good but not the best Yakiniku level anyway. My recommendation is always to order "A La Carte" at Great, as somehow I am not into their Tasting Menu selections 👀, which seem half budget planned if you understand how Wagyu parts are butchered & priced in Japan, & a lot of it involves Marketing. Its a bit more convincing if we select ourselves.

"SOHO H Code" does have more professional Chefs helping you cook, also they defrost 解凍 the Wagyu better.

"Sheung Wan" somehow is more relaxing with friends, service is more friendly casual. It depends what kind of environment you desire that instance!

菜單太大一張，兒子太認真看，

菜單撞到旁邊的菜單，再撞到最邊邊的醬料罐。
我連忙跟店員道歉，兒子仍忘我的欣賞菜單。
「把拔我選好了！」
「把拔你幹嘛在桌子下面？」

The menu is too big.
He try to slide it left and right to read it through.
The menu hits the menu next to it, and then hits the sauce on the edge of the table.

Then, when I apologize to the clerk for the mess and clean up, he still concentrate on choocing what to eat.

"OK, I made my decision Dad"

"???"

"Why are you under the table?"

東京都品川区北品川の『ラーメン二郎品川店』に伺いました。今回は初めてトライしてみたメニューです。ラーメン二郎ではトッピングの種類や量を自由にお願いすることができ、店員さんに伝えることを「コール」と呼びます。そのルールが店ごとに違うことがあるためにハードルが高いと思われがちですが、実際には伝えるべきことを伝えられれば問題なし。特に品川店は伝わればいいよと仰って下さっているので、かなり入りやすいです。今回は初めて頼むメニューなので、そのボリュームの違いも楽しみに食べました。それでは早速動画、スタートです！

We visited "Ramen Jiro Shinagawa Store" in Kitashinagawa, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo. This is the menu I tried for the first time. At Ramen Jiro, you can freely ask for the type and amount of toppings, and telling the clerk is called "call". It's easy to think that the hurdles are high because the rules may differ from store to store, but in reality there is no problem if you can tell what you need to tell. In particular, the Shinagawa store is very easy to enter because it says that it should be communicated. This is the first menu I ordered, so I was looking forward to the difference in volume. 女ひとり、立ち飲みに初チャレンジ！東京都町田市にある立ち飲みができる『立ち飲み 町呑屋』に伺ってきました。今回1人飲みするにあたり、1人でパッと呑めるお店をと思い伺ってみました。オーナーはお酒の小売りをしていらっしゃるそう。地元町田にちなんだお酒をはじめ、町田の豆腐店や野菜なども積極的に取り入れて町田を盛り上げようと尽力されています。オーナーご自身もお酒がお好きだそうで豊富に揃うお酒も珍しいものが多数ありました。また、女性スタッフの方がその日仕入れたものでメニューを考えているそうで、毎日通っても飽きない心遣いが随所に感じられました。常連の方も多くいらしていましたが自分のような一見さんも気軽に入れるお店でした。お店の様子やオーナーの方のいろいろなお話など、ぜひ一緒にお楽しみください！

For our World Environment Virtual Cooking Show, Team #DVaromas shares some eco tips on saving the environment, one step at a time!

Despite the show running a bit late (I had some tech challenges before the start of the show), I had fun learning some baking tips from one of our customers Masita while making KILLER TOAST, ideas on modifying the PEANUT (ALMOND) BUTTER recipe over Cookidoo and finding sensible and practical ways cleaning your blade and mixing bowl from Aisyah after showing how to make FAST AND EASY BEE HOON using her "Tammy".
