電子遊戲中亦有所謂的「非線性」劇情體驗（non-linear experience），表示故事並沒有特定的章節與橋段，在開頭與結尾中間存在著許多變數，某種形式上來說也很接近人生，在生與死之間，每個人會遇到的事總是不一樣，但有些一樣。這就是《九十六號公路》，由《英勇之心》（Valiant Hearts: The Great War）總監帶領的團隊 Digixart 開發，預計 2021 年夏季上市。
