รัฐบาลจีนเดินหน้าประกาศใช้มาตรการใหม่แล้ววันนี้ จำกัดเวลาการเล่นเกมของเยาวชนในประเทศให้เหลือเพียงสัปดาห์ละ 3 ชั่วโมงเท่านั้น

โดยนับตั้งแต่นี้เป็นต้นไป ผู้ให้บริการรายใหญ่อย่าง Tencent หรือ NetEase จะสามารถเปิดให้เยาวชนเล่นเกมออนไลน์ได้ในช่วง 20:00 น. - 21:00 น. เฉพาะในวันศุกร์ เสาร์ อาทิตย์ และวันหยุดนักขัตฤกษ์ จากเดิมที่ประกาศไว้เมื่อปี 2019 ให้สามารถเล่นได้ทุกวัน วันละ 1.5 ชั่วโมง

การประกาศครั้งนี้ ถือว่าส่งผลกระทบโดยตรงกับแวดวงเกมของจีน ซึ่งจะต้องปรับเปลี่ยนกลยุทธ์ใหม่ให้สอดคล้องอย่างเร่งด่วน ขณะที่ Steven Leung ผู้บริหารของ UOB Kay Hian (ฮ่องกง) ก็ออกมาแสดงความเห็นว่าการจำกัดให้เล่นเกมได้แค่ 3 ชั่วโมงต่อสัปดาห์มันมากเกินไป และจะเป็นผลลบต่อ Tencent อย่างแน่นอน

นอกเหนือจากเรื่องจำนวนชั่วโมงแล้ว ก็ยังมีรายละเอียดอื่น ๆ เพิ่มเติม ได้แก่

- เกมออนไลน์ทุกเกมจะต้องเชื่อมต่อกับระบบป้องกันการเสพติดของภาครัฐ และต้องใช้ชื่อจริงในการเข้าใช้งานเท่านั้น
- หน่วยงานรัฐมีสิทธิ์เข้ามาสอดส่องว่าผู้ให้บริการปฏิบัติตามข้อกำหนดหรือไม่ ทั้งเวลาการเล่น และการจ่ายเงินซื้อไอเท็มภายในเกม
- หน่วยงานรัฐจะร่วมมือกับผู้ปกครอง, โรงเรียน และอื่น ๆ เพื่อต่อสู้กับการเสพติดเกมของเยาวชน

ทางด้านของ miHoYo อีกหนึ่งบริษัทเกมรายใหญ่ที่ให้บริการเกม Genshin Impact ก็ออกมาตอบรับกับข้อกำหนดดังกล่าวแล้วเป็นที่เรียบร้อย โดยจะเปิดให้บริการกับเยาวชนแค่ในช่วง 20:00 น. - 21:00 น. เท่านั้น มีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 31 สิงหาคมเป็นต้นไป
