歐盟成員國今天（6/16）在比利時布魯塞爾開會後同意：解除美國、北馬其頓、塞爾維亞、阿爾巴尼亞、台灣、黎巴嫩「非必要旅行」限制。
取消限制意味上列國家遊客將可以更容易進入歐盟，但各成員國仍然有權決定是否施加額外規定。德國傳媒引述歐盟輪值主席國葡萄牙的發言人說，預計措施將在本周末正式簽署通過。
Restrictions on travel to Europe from the United States are set to be eased after EU ambassadors reached an agreement on additions to the EU's approved travel list, national officials told POLITICO.
Countries on Wednesday agreed to expand the list to include the U.S., North Macedonia, Serbia, Albania, Taiwan and Lebanon, with a formal sign-off expected at the end of the week.

It’s common knowledge that Taiwan has many abandoned, homeless and abused dogs, but did you know that many of them are given better lives – “forever homes” – in other countries? One organization helping Taiwan’s strays settle in homes abroad is Mary’s Doggies.
It was founded by Mary Choi. She was afraid of dogs when she was growing up and didn’t have a chance to learn to love and respect them. That changed when she met her husband and he brought a puppy named Chester into their lives. She grew to love Chester and later began rescuing abandoned dogs she found in the mountainous area where she lived. After rescuing the dogs, she and volunteers at the organization she set up, Mary's Doggies, rehabilitated, trained and re-homed them.
In 2012, she began sending dogs abroad to their adoptive families and over the years, she has sent nearly 2,000 to countries including the U.S., Canada, Holland and Germany.
Because of the COVID-19 travel restrictions, however, she has been unable to find enough flights or passengers to accompany the dogs, so many of them have not been able to go abroad to be with their families.
