Does Sin Cause God to Ignore your Prayers?
“You husbands, in the same way, live with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered.” (1 Peter 3:7 WEB)
Does the verse above mean that Christian men who mistreat their wives will be disqualified from praying, and that God will ignore their prayers?
Actually no, God remembers our sins no more and He still sees us as righteous when we fail.
However, sinning is self sabotage because it triggers the conscience in your flesh. The conscience is the Law written in your heart, and if you have a habit of sinning, the conscience will keep condemning you and you will find it impossible to pray in faith.
“How can you expect God to bless you when you keep failing Him? You hypocrite, stop sinning first, then you can pray.” Your conscience will accuse you day and night if you allow yourself to sink into sinful habits.
If you are trapped by Satanic strongholds or yokes, you will need powerful weapons to destroy them. When these are eliminated inside you, your behavior will transform as well.
