Just completed setting up the new 2021 iPad mini for the wife. It is the 256GB Starlight colour, Wifi/Cellular model.
It was painless to sync from her older 10.5-inch iPad Pro to the new iPad mini. I think she will be happy with the new features like Centre Stage, A15 Bionic chip, Apple Pencil 2 support, and USB-C port. All in that small package that is great for reading her eBooks.

Receive the Mighty Works of God in your Body
“As he passed by, he saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither did this man sin, nor his parents; but, that the works of God might be revealed in him. I must work the works of him who sent me, while it is day. The night is coming, when no one can work. While I am in the world, I am the light of the world.” When he had said this, he spat on the ground, made mud with the saliva, anointed the blind man’s eyes with the mud, and said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which means “Sent”). So he went away, washed, and came back seeing.” (John 9:1-7 WEB)
This whole world is fallen due to Adam’s sin. Why are people born blind or with other conditions? Jesus’ reply to His disciples tells us that it is not God punishing men for their sins.
Think of our DNA that links back all the way to Adam as a printer. No matter how perfectly drawn a piece of digital art is, if it comes out from a faulty printer, the result will be a blotchy art piece with imperfections.
Is this the fault of the artist? No, it is because the printer is faulty. Ever since Adam sinned, he has passed on seed (DNA) that is also corrupted by sin. Every baby inherits sin in their flesh. The sin-tainted DNA is like the faulty printer, messing up God’s perfect design.
The man who was born blind must have suffered greatly over the years. Perhaps he was bitter and angry with God, blaming Him for the health condition.
The blind man would never imagine that God loved him so much that He sent His Son to heal him in person.
After being healed, the blind man got saved. His story and declarations of faith are forever recorded as Scripture, and has inspired innumerable believers throughout time. Was it worth it to be born blind and have a personal encounter with Jesus like that, immortalized in Scripture? I feel that it is priceless.
God is not so petty that if we misunderstand Him, He will not be good to us. Look at Jesus—He was willing to be humiliated and blasphemed at the cross, so that we would be saved. When we look at Jesus, we will know Abba God’s heart. Jesus did nothing without first receiving instructions from the Father. As Jesus obeyed what He saw (in vision form), the Holy Spirit supplied the power for miracles. They worked perfectly in sync as one God.
If you were born with a condition that you hate, know that God did not design you this way. Sin that is passed down through the DNA is what distorts God’s beautiful design.
God wants you to receive His healing. We know that the price for your healing and restoration have been paid at the cross. Jesus’s blood was shed so that you can be made whole.
Jesus said that while He was in the world, He was the light of the world.
Since He has returned to Heaven, is there no more “light of the world”?
“You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can’t be hidden. Neither do you light a lamp, and put it under a measuring basket, but on a stand; and it shines to all who are in the house. Even so, let your light shine before men; that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16 WEB)
Jesus has passed on the baton to us. Now, you and I who have the Holy Spirit indwelling us, are the light of the world.
The Lord said that the man was allowed to be born blind so that the works of God might be revealed in him. Healing is a good work that glorifies God in Heaven.
As the light of the world, go forth in the same authority that Jesus had when He went about doing good, healing all who were oppressed by the devil. He did not heal anyone by His own divinity. He relied on the power of the Holy Spirit, so that we would have a pattern to follow.
When you pray for healing, expect God’s power for healing to be supplied. You can receive miracles in Jesus’ name.
When Jesus returns for us, our mortal bodies will be transformed into glorified bodies. Then, the ‘faulty printer’ will be gone. We will be revealed as beautiful masterpieces of art, just as our good God originally intended!

We are often too preoccupied with the many things going on in life to give our loved ones kind reminders. However, has it ever occurred to you that your parents could fall prey to phone scams because you haven’t reminded them often enough?
Phone scammers often pose as couriers, officials in Mainland China and staff from the Immigration Department etc., to request personal particulars from their targets and demand that they set up online bank accounts. The scammers would then ask the victims to disclose the login names and passwords for the accounts, in order to defraud them.
In fact, coming up with an agreed code word that your parents and loved ones can use to verify any claims made by dubious callers, is already the best way to show your love and care for them. First of all, this is NOT a sponsored video (but I'm an affiliate, like all my other videos). I'm just supporting a Kickstarter product I've found really useful. I use Instamic instead of "real" wireless mics because I don't want extra stuff like receivers hanging off my camera, especially when I'm shooting on a gimbal. With normal wireless mic systems, each transmitter needs its own receiver. Want to use 3 mics? Gotta hook up 3 receivers. Which means getting a recorder like Tascam or Zoom. Now you have 3 TX, 3 RX, and a recorder, all with their own batteries to charge every night. And lots of cables. That's big, heavy, and cumbersome.
With Instamic, that same setup can be replicated with 3 thumb-sized mics, one lighter-sized timecode generator, and a phone.
Sometimes I use iPhones + lav mics instead (and Tentacle Sync has a great recorder app for that). This works well too..unless your talent doesn't have pockets. Also, each lav mic needs its own iPhone. It's slightly bulkier. And you need to hide the mic cables. But on the plus side, I feel more confident in my audio because I can look down and see the app recording.
Instamic isn't perfect. It heats up a lot after extended use. It's hard to know if you've properly pressed the button to start recording. The app sometimes has weird lags when triggering record, and I've had some instances where I thought I was recording but actually the mic wasn't running. I don't know why; some Bluetooth communication issue.
But overall, the fact is there's no other thumb-sized audio recorder with split-level WAV recording (or Stereo or Mid-Side) and timecode. And no other voice recorders have an app where you can remotely connect them, monitor them, and trigger simultaneous recording. Oh, and Instamic Pro is waterproof.
