高雄桃源鄉的拉克斯溪游泳池，這幾年來不斷的在變化，每一年它都不斷被掩埋，又被重新整理出來，因為如此成為南部最好的天然泳池，因為梅雨季的缺席，今年拉克斯溪泳池比以往維持了更久。

儘管它與其他溪流相較之下是一個相當安全的游泳處(一個成人在泳池任何一處都可以站立，沒有水流且水溫溫暖清澈)當局人員仍擔心都市人的生命安全，這是相當有爭議的地方，雖然這個游泳池很快就會大一場大雨而淹沒，但我還是希望大家能站出來，抗議把自然資源奪走的人，這還不是觀光發展條例第36條的規定，一旦這裡被禁止了，我們將永遠失去拉克斯溪天然泳池。

另外，近日肺炎的爆發只是個巧合，這個爭議已經在許久不前已經受到多討論，泳池的關閉與疫情無關，不用多說這週末大家都待在家吧！在疫情趨緩回到大自然之前，我也會乖乖待在家。

The Lakesixi swimming pools have changed a lot over the years. Every year they get filled, and then rebuilt in another location. Yet every year they stay the best place to swim in Southern Taiwan. This year it's lasted longer than ever before, due to the absence of the plum rains.

This video is the history of how it came to be, and what process causes it to have such beautiful colors.

Despite being possibly the safest place to swim in any river, ( An adult can stand at any give point in the pool, it doesn't have currents, and the water is warm and clear) haters are still trying to close it due to safety concerns. This point is moot, because it will disappear in the next heavy rain, but I still urge people to resist having wilderness access taken away from them. It's not under article 26 of the Act for Tourism Development yet... but if it is, you're never going to get it back.

Btw, it's only a coincidence that we have a COVID outbreak at this time. The friction over this river started much earlier. And the attempted closure is unrelated to covid. Obviously everyone stay home this weekend, I am at home too, and wait until the COVID situation improves before going back out.

My growing team at D'Varomas! I'm blessed to have such a wonderful team who is kecoh but dedicated and we don't just talk about our "Moes", but other matters of the heart from spiritual observations ... to meats and relationships.

I started this team in Period 4 (in Thermomix, we use "Periods of 4 weeks" as opposed to months) after some intense deliberation which involved personal concerns and my schedule.

But I always believe in God's timing. In HIS time has always been one of my favourite mantras, so it's no coincidence that it is also one of my favourite hymns.

With Anis as my (not so silent) partner, together we have a growing outfit of 16 Sales Advisors and have sold over 60 units of Thermomix in the 2 periods.

Syukur Alhamdulillah, with HIS grace, I applied to be promoted as Junior Team Manager and submitted my form and video across at 8PM, Sunday 16th May. - the day of my husband and MANager's 52nd birthday.

The next morning, I received the wonderful news that my application was approved! Will probably share the video I had to do on Azmi's birthday (thank God he was busy with his fish stuff!)

Thank you to my interim leader Pija from Academia HA who was extremely patient with me. I hope to emulate all the wise trainings you taught the team and I and apply it with a touch of DVAness to the rest.

Happy birthday to my husband. HAHAHAHA. I have another story about that. But will save that for another day.

SMART goals
You could say that the whole human endeavour is geared towards setting and achieving goals. Goals are part of every aspect of life: how you conduct your relationships, what you want to achieve at work, the way you use your spare time... Everything comes down to priorities, and what you would like to accomplish in every aspect – whether you make a conscious choice or go with subconscious preferences.

Without setting goals or objectives, life becomes a series of chaotic happenings you don't control. You become the plaything of coincidence. Accomplishments like sending someone to the moon, inventing the iPod etcetera are the result of a goal that was set at some point. A vision that was charted and realised.

What is SMART goal setting?
SMART goal setting brings structure and trackability into your goals and objectives. In stead of vague resolutions, SMART goal setting creates verifiable trajectories towards a certain objective, with clear milestones and an estimation of the goal's attainabililty. Every goal or objective, from intermediary step to overarching objective, can be made S.M.A.R.T. and as such, brought closer to reality.

In corporate life, SMART goal setting is one of the most effective and yet least used tools for achieving goals. Once you've charted to outlines of your project, it's time to set specific intermediary goals. With the SMART checklist, you can evaluate your objectives. SMART goal setting also creates transparency throughout the company. It clarifies the way goals came into existence, and the criteria their realisation will conform to.

What does S.M.A.R.T. goal setting stand for?

Why not think of a small goal you want to set right now, personal or professional. To make your goal S.M.A.R.T., it needs to conform to the following criteria: Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant and Timely.

S.M.A.R.T. goal setting: Specific

What exactly do you want to achieve? The more specific your description, the bigger the chance you'll get exactly that. S.M.A.R.T. goal setting clarifies the difference between 'I want to be a millionaire' and 'I want to make €50.000 a month for the next ten years by creating a new software product'.

Questions you may ask yourself when setting your goals and objectives are:

What exactly do I want to achieve?
Where?
How?
When?
With whom?
What are the conditions and limitations?
Why exactly do I want to reach this goal? What are possible alternative ways of achieving the same?
