《極端氣候不只是警告！它已成新常態：Ida風暴襲擊紐約，地鐵街道成河流：紐澤西州南方龍捲風將一排房屋夷為平地》

* 紐約週四凌晨宣布進入緊急狀態。美東北地區因艾達颶風帶來的暴雨，造成嚴重洪災，紐約及紐澤西地方政府，在許多淹水地區包括華人聚居的Queens等地區進行多次水上救援。

* 颶風Ida肆虐美國南部各州後，繼續北上。周三晚上襲擊美國東北部，週四早上紐約市政府宣布紐約為重大危險區。

Ida在中央公園下了傾盆大雨，地鐵被洪水淹沒，整個城市系統幾乎皆癱瘓。直到清晨，洪水才慢慢退去。

*紐約鄰近的紐澤西州紐瓦克市，出現有氣象記錄以來，最大單日降雨紀錄。

* 紐約市從1日入夜開始禁止民眾出門，禁令持續至當地時間2日清晨5時，所有非緊急車輛，不得上路。

全紐約市地鐵，幾乎皆因洪流灌入停擺，只剩7號線與史塔登島線（Staten Island Railway）營運，但班次也延誤。

紐約市長白思豪（Bill de Blasio）推文：「今夜我們遭逢歷史性的極端氣候事件，全市降雨破紀錄，洪流湧入市內，街道狀況危險。」

* 「紐約時報」報導，昨晚紐約中央公園記錄到時雨量3.1英寸（約78.7毫米）的降雨強度，打破上週才締造的1.94英寸（49.2毫米）紀錄。

*美國國家氣象局破天荒地向紐約市、紐約州、紐澤西州發出暴洪緊急警報。

* 紐約地區周四努力克服颶風艾達殘餘帶來的毀滅性和致命暴雨，紐約市長白思豪説或許這個城市得面對及適應極端氣候事件，已成為常態的現實。

本集一起去看看到紐約遊客必到的觀光景點，紐約的消費絕不便宜，但其實也有很多免費必到景點，我最推薦的是Staten Island Ferry！除了可看到自由女神像之外，令我驚喜的是紐約南邊的海岸線，非常震撼。雖然對我來說在華爾街沒有太多實質的事情可以做，但作為遊客的我也必須到此一遊，另一個令我驚嘆的是世貿遺址。
在出發之前我已經計畫好要看在布魯克林大橋的國慶煙花匯演，但很可惜因為安全檢查理由，所有有人一律不得攜帶背包入場，我只好被打回頭回家，但驚喜的是我想紐約市短暫居住的Apartment居然也可以看到一點點煙花匯演，感到十分驚奇！也令今天的旅程無憾了！
這是一個「非常美國的一天」
