Now that my kids are older, gone are the days when all of us can squeeze into one hotel room. 😅 We need space. Lots and lots of it. And Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Orchard, Singapore offers that… and more.

Strategically located in Orchard Road, it has newly refurbished apartments with separate living and bedroom areas, kitchenette, washing machine & dryer and even eco-friendly In-room Filtered Water Taps, providing safe drinking water on demand. No need for bottled water. 😊

But I think the main draw has got to be the huge amount of space that our Two Bedroom Executive Suite offers - perfect for my family of 5. Smaller families or couples can go for the One Bedroom Deluxe Suite or One Bedroom Premium Suite (30% larger).

Facilities include a Hydro-Therapeutic Spa, fully- equipped Fitness Centre, Ionised Swimming Pool with Hydro-Rider Aqua Treadmill & Bicycle (yes, in the pool!) and a huge Lounge with free-flow coffee, massage chairs and X-Box Kinect! Now that’s what I call a staycation!!!

P.S. Because Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Orchard is a serviced residence and not a full-fledged hotel, there is a minimum stay requirement of 6 nights. So perhaps it’s more suited for the year-end holidays. If you are looking for a 1 or 2 night staycation, you can try the Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Beach Road instead. 😊

We never thought that Maeleth would be able to cycle so soon! She learned to cycle at 5 years old which is much younger than when Amilee and I learned it. God knew that we were clueless at teaching Mae how to cycle, so He sent professionals to coach her in it. These video clips that you’re watching were taken today during Mae’s final lesson. We are so happy to see her pedaling confidently and having so much fun! 😄

The cycling coaches’ average result is that children (from 5 years old onwards) can cycle after just two lessons! That is exactly what happened for us. Mae was able to pedal on a bicycle by the end of the second lesson. We love how the coaches are friendly, patient, encouraging, and that they could quickly prescribe ways for Mae to cycle better after identifying any problems with her technique. 🤩
