That was a rough day at Ironman 70.3 Bangsaen man. But here's my favourite moment of the day - when @thesquirmygremlin cheered for me!
Gosh, so the swim was choppy and for every 2 strokes you swim forward it feels like you get pulled back 1! I drank so much water omg.
Then the bike course had like so many bridges I lost count; I just know I kept going up and down and up and down lol! Lots of turns too, so a little more technical, and some headwind here and there.
Then the most brutal part was the run! It's 3 loops of 7km and about 4+km of it was HILLS round the Monkey Park. Gosh that's 3 rounds of hills! Again, we were going up and down and there were 3 big climbs that stood out.
I was so happy to finish and I've never sat in the ice pool for so long before. My legs were really taxed man.
Missed 3rd place by 23 seconds and that stings af!! But hey, for a course that brought out a lot of my weaknesses I'm just gonna console myself and say it's ok!

ワンピース→バイクウェア→水着と前後に温度差が生まれるようにざっくりと構成くみました。
