[TAIPEI - 千壽 😋]
上次来千壽吃簡午餐不夠45分鐘便吃完離開。這次約了酒友們午餐,特別提前三週已跟料理長安排加碼。除了沒有壽司以外,其他菜式的質和量比晚餐有過之而無不及。
料理長的菜式屬於專統會席料理,沒有太大創新風格。食品的呈現也十分精緻。整個用餐過程接近四小時,每一道都很精彩。
若從懷石,會席料理或割烹的餐廳來說,這𥚃絕對是在台北甚至全台灣的數一數二。期待有機會再去吃它的壽司再向大家報告。
The last time I had lunch here although it was good, I finished the three course light lunch within 45mins. As the lunch this time is with a group of wine buddies and will consume a number of bottles, we have arranged with the head chef three weeks in advance trying to beef up the menu. At the end, other than not being able to serve sushi, the quality and quantity of the menu was as much and as good as the evening course if not more.
Head chef style of cuisine is of traditional kaiseki without too innovative, and food presentation is quite refine. Throughout the close to 4 hour meal, every course is divine.
If looking at kaiseki, ryori or Kappou style of Japanese cuisine perspective, this restaurant for sure is one of the best in Taipei or even Taiwan.
Look forward to revisit to try out their sushi and give my further comment.

在台灣數一數二很有名的私房菜, 很多名人定期捧場。
沒有局限那一個國家的料理和派系,每次去都等著感受靈魂人物老闆主廚Jerry在他的舞台發揮,他自己的風格料理就對了。 發源於這𥚃的所謂’暴力美食’,真的可用這𥚃的一餐抵外面任何餐廳的兩餐或更多。
今天開始前Jerry哥已説刻意幫我們把菜的數量減少,做得更精緻。
有別於之前吃的招牌魯肉飯,煎餃子等,今天可以說是分兩段。第一段’只有’四道菜,但每一道的量都足以成為主菜。花膠鮑魚白露筍,海膽蓋飯,帶子大蝦和鵝肝牛排吃完已很飽,酒也已喝了六款。但之後看到員工在大廳的中段起壇,才發現原來現在只是中場休息。下半場轉為麻辣火鍋。湯沒有很辣但夠香,已有九分飽的我在投降前也吃了三大碗不停在加的料,很飽但非常滿足!!

One of the most famous private kitchen in Taiwan with many rich and famous as frequent customers.
Without limiting to any country’s cuisine or style, you just need to sit back to enjoy chef owner Jerry’s craftsmanship on his stage.
Originated from here, the portion of the so called ‘in your face gourmet’ can anytime equal to or more than two meals anywhere.
Before we started today, Jerry already told us that he intentionally cut down the quantity with the aim to make each dish more refine.
Different from the signature Taiwanese minced pork rice and fried dumplings etc, tonight’s dinner was split into two sessions.
There were four courses in the beginning each is equivalent to main course portion. Including the 6 wines served, a big eater like me was already full. But until I know it, it was only half time intermission as they started setting up in the middle of the studio. The second half of the evening was spicy hot pot!! The soup base was not spicy though tastes savoury. Even I was 90% full I still managed to gulp down three big bowls before I flashed my white flag. Very full yet satisfying dining experience!!

回顧上星期六法國八星名廚Yannick Alléno在蘭的兩天客座。 一埸城中火熱, 一位難求的活動。 當晚的環境,氣氛和服務都仿似在嘉年華一樣....十分熱閙!🤣
食物出品還是有一定的水準。基於名廚在台灣的背景及對本地食材的熟悉程度,很多菜都加入了本地原素。這跟名廚在巴黎三星旗艦餐廳風格有差異。
只可說是一次‘難忘高級餐廳用餐’體驗!!
Throwback of Pavillon Ledoyen’s Yannick Alléno 2 day pop up dinner at Orchid. Extremely sought after event of the town. Environment, atmosphere and service wise, it was like going to a carnival....very ‘lively’ indeed!! 🤣
Food quality and presentation remains refine. With guest chef’s past familiar experience with Taiwan’s ingredients, many dishes added a certain degree of local elements. The style is different from what one would expect if dining at Ledoyen.
It’s definitely a ‘memorable fine dining’ experience!!
