【隨處可見的百褶裙，背後竟隱藏驚人工藝？】
褶襉（pleating，讀音：折簡），是一種將面料用模具加以褶疊、加壓加熱，進而在織品上形成永久性的褶紋的技術。
應用在時裝設計上，褶襉處理過的面料，能在視覺上為服裝增添立體感，給人自然、飄逸的印象，也能增加服裝的放鬆度，為穿衣者帶來更多舒適感，常見的百褶裙，就是褶襉工藝的應用之一。
褶襉的製作方式，可粗略分為機器與傳統製程兩種，說起時尚界最知名的褶襉製作，或許是2013年被Chanel收購的百年褶襉工坊Atelier Lognon。他們除了仍然保留手工操作的褶襉製程外，另一個珍貴資產就是工坊中收藏的高達3000種樣式獨特的紙製模形！
Atelier Lognon長期以來備受Chanel、Dior、Givenchy等經典品牌青睞，「這是個特別的地方，他們能做出別人無法生產的褶襉。」擁有同名品牌的服裝設計師Christine Phung分享道，「他們的收費當然比較高昂，但能讓自己的服裝系列由這些技法嫻熟的人手工製作，是一種榮幸。」
