Gardening has never been my forte but recently, the girls have taken a keen interest in growing plants and in wanting to encourage them to hone their green fingers, together with Papa, they've set up this mini garden in our home.
While they are the ones responsible for watering the plants and taking care of the garden, you can imagine my shock when the big girl told me one day "Mama, there are flies and worms and bugs on some of our plants and in the pots!" Oh dear. What could we possibly do to save our plants without harming the pests since I always tell the kids that every life matters?
