Serving my reservist right now when ABTM 3 trailer is just released. A pleasant surprise to know that I'm featured in this article. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=650274678414393&id=236424069799458
You may know him as "Wayang King" acting as an Army Recruit in Ah BOYS to MEN. For the upcoming Ah Boys to Men 3, he will be acting as a Naval Diver from the Naval Diving Unit.
But off-the-screens, CPL(NS) Maxi Lim (林俊良) is an Air Force NSman from 608 Squadron.
"We are trained to handle many different types of situations pertaining to the security of the camp, such as armed intrusion or bomb threats," said CPL(NS) Maxi. "As we stand guard at the entrance or prowl the base, at every instance we are prepared and to act if need be."
National Golfer, LCP Nicklaus Chiam also serves his NS with 608 SQN which won the Best Force Protection Squadron award for the past 2 years. When asked about his role:
"The Base Protection Force is one that never sleeps. We often need to go on graveyard shifts or work over festive seasons, but I feel a sense of meaning in what I do."
