【小乞丐在幹什麼？】

「兒童貧窮」是許多藝術的主題，一眼看上去，只見一小男孩低頭看着甚麼，但事實上沒有那麼簡單——他正在捉自己身上的蝨子。

活在今天的我們，在欣賞此畫時可能完全沒有留意到男孩子的動作，以為他只是低頭沉思，但據說在16至17世紀，有許多畫家都有描繪平常百姓除蝨的情況。以上作品出於巴托洛梅·穆里羅之手，畫題是《年輕的乞丐》，屬於風俗畫（genre painting）——意指以平常人日常生活為題材的繪畫類型，內容亦多樣。而此畫描繪了一個赤腳的年輕街童，他身穿破爛不堪的衣服，坐在窗口旁，似乎剛吃過東西，旁邊有殘餘的蝦及幾個蒙了塵的蘋果，這些都是當時貧窮人家的典型食品。

這幅畫的背景是17世紀的西班牙，那時當地貧窮問題嚴重，加上瘟疫使許多兒童變成孤兒。貧窮成為其時一個頗為普遍主題，例如穆里羅亦畫過《Beggar Boys Eating Grapes and Melon》及《Old Woman and Boy》的作品，均描寫了街頭窮人的形象。在藝術手法上，可見畫家受到卡拉瓦喬（Caravaggio）的影響，作品運用了光影互補的手法，將光線集中在主題人物之上。

巴托洛梅·穆里羅是17世紀西班牙最重要的畫家之一，他所創作的宗教畫和風俗畫等都享譽歐洲，尤其描繪下層社會窮孩子的作品能激發人的同情心。晚年時為教堂繪製祭壇畫，不慎從樓架上摔落，不久後與世長辭。

Tiger Muay Thai and 02 Beach Club hosted a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu no-gi grappling Tournament over the Songkran weekend in Phuket, Thailand. There was a large turnout for the tournament from various gyms on the island.

Things just keep on getting better at Tiger Muay Thai and MMA Training Camp in Phuket, Thailand. The camp is proud to announce it's newest instructor, Fernando Maccachero, who has arrived!

Maccachero, a 4th Degree Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Crezio de Souza, also holds a Brown Belt in Judo. He was hand picked by former UFC champion and Brazilian Top Team founder Murillo Bustamante to become BTT's representative in Thailand as well as TMT.
