【#FreespaceMixtape Vol. 2】8. #ROOT - Fly Me Out of Here
音樂作品創作意念來自香港人經常想旅行散心，但人在旅途時又會想家的矛盾心情。沒有工作就不懂得珍惜假期，沒有旅遊就不懂得珍惜家的感覺。
ROOT是Jan Curious及張駿豪 （Teriver Cheung） 於2016年由自由約創作團隊撮合的實驗企劃。後來加入了蘇道哲和黃子瑜，成就了現在四人組合的ROOT。
This song is about the paradox they find common in many Hong Kong people: we are always desperate to travel out of the city, whereas feeling homesick while we are out of town.
ROOT is a new original alternative project by Jan Curious and guitarist Teriver Cheung. A full band line up with Chok Kerong on keyboard and synth Bass and Fish Huang on drums.

We initiated a series of cross-genre music collaborations designed to inspire musicians to experiment with new compositions and arrangements. “Freespace Mixtape Vol. 2 recorded 14 tracks of cross-genre local music collaborations, available at all major music streaming platforms from 9 March. We have also invited video artists from #Videotage on the project to produce video work for “Freespace Mixtape Vol. 2”, tol be released regularly on #Freespace Facebook Page, stay tuned!
