Hujan Lebat di Waktu Senja

Jam 7.45 malam, selesai sudah sesi meyuarat dengan First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB). Saya telah mempengerusikan mesyuarat Majlis Shariah FAB sejak pukul 6 petang.

Hari ni minum petang saya pukul 530 petang agak istimewa. Bukan lagi biskut macam sebelum ini. Ada rakan saya iaitu Abong beli kuih kegemaran saya kuih lopeh. Ada juga sepotong kek sempena harijadi intern kami Alia.

Jam 4 petang ada perbincangan dengan sebuah dana Family Office yang bertapak di Bahrain. Nak buat consolidation kepada dana dengan menggunakan konsep Special Protected Company (SPC) di Cayman Island. Agak mencabar juga kerana ada comingled antara dana Syariah & dana konvensional.

Jam 3 petang bersama dalam satu perbincangam atas talian antara MPS Bank Negara dengan pegawai2 perbankan Islam Bank Negara.

9.15 pagi bersama dalam satu sesi bedah buku-buku saya dengan pihak UTHM anjuran Perpusaan Tun Aminah, UTHM. TNC UTHM telah mengupas buku saya Saya Ada 25 Jam Sehari & kemudian saya membuat ulasan kepada buku saya Anak Desa ke Persada Antarabangsa. Terima kasih Pn Zaharah, Pustakawan UTHM, Prof Madya Dr Affandi Ahmad, TNC UTHM & Dr Lutfan sebagai moderator sesi saya. Dr Lutfan telah mengarang biogarafi saya dengan bahasanya yang tersendiri. Nanti saya akan publish dalam media sosial saya.

Dalam intro, saya sebut yang saya sedang edit buku Saya Ada 25 Jam Sehari kepada Saya Ada 30 Jam Sehari. Saya juga sebut buku Anak Desa Ke Persada Antarabangsa akan ada versi kembar iaitu Kembara Ilmu dari Sg. Korok ke St. Andrews. Anda boleh ikuti rakaman sesi saya selama 75 minit dalam youtube UTHM.

Dalam satu soalan dari Usna, beliau bertanya bagaimana cara belajar yang lebih efektik di zaman digital learning. Saya jawab "Kena ubah cara fikir dalam menyantuni ilmu secara digital. Mungkin sudah sampai masa untuk pendidik mengajar cara berfikir & bukan memberi ilmu. Biar pelajar menggunakan internet mengali ilmu".

Saya juga sebut supaya universiti "cepat membina fasiliti virtual reality" kerana ini akan memberi impak yang lebih real dalam pengajaran dalam bidang berasaskan makmal. VR adalah lebih berkualiti dari digital learning. Adakah kita sudah bersedia?

🔺「假消息」，社交媒體使企業以較低的成本滲透廣大的消費者市場，然而也成為錯誤資訊孳生的溫床；
🔺「不對稱的平台優勢」，一些大型平台可能迫使中小企業應用其軟體等，足以對整體市場造成一定的壟斷影響力。

COVID-19 has greatly influenced on MSMEs, governments therefore have launched relief measures and facilitate digitalization to alleviate the economic impacts caused by the pandemic. Meanwhile,
a report << Supporting MSMEs' Digitalization Amid COVID-19>>, published by APEC in this July, points out some complex challenges that digitalization presents, which are:

🔺Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Concerns: MSMEs are likely to be prime targets due to their lack of the necessary resources and security policies to defend against cyberattacks.
🔺Online Misinformation: Some MSMEs kickstarted their online businesses with social media platforms which have lower costs. However, the freewheeling nature of these platforms is also fertile grounds to spread false information.
🔺Asymmetric Market Power and Platform Dominance: The danger of platform dominance morphing into market power in certain sectors of the economy, particularly those supplied by larger platforms, may invite market consolidation by a small number of large and influential digital players.
