經過了一年休息，OURS手帳回來拉！我們這次將手帳用更乾淨、洗鍊的感覺呈現。
以日本的暑假作業”自由研究”發想， 每週設計一個小小的課題：今年的目標 / 聽了什麼新音樂；找出一樣黃色的東西 / 吃了下午茶嗎？
這次的手帳依然使用了天堂鳥，這張紙大部分的墨水 / 印台都適用，厚度適中、並且鮮少透背的紙質我們一直很喜歡。附錄頁的地方也找了好朋友 @cylpearl 一起寫了食譜🥰

We took the summer homework for the topic.
In Japan, students have to do a little reasearch of little things around.
Like record the plants growing, or drawing diary.
So we design many questions for you! Like: What's your goal for this year /
Have you listen any new album? / Find something in yellow...etc.
The paper we've choosed just like Tomoe River paper can suit for most of fountain pens, stampes, pens, etc.
It's more clean and simplicity this year, hope you love it!

Daily advice for HK immigrants to the West:
Regarding parenting, you’re going to have to stretch yourself to think beyond forcing your kids to get straight A’s. Now, I’m all in favor of good grades. Grades however are only one indicator among many for success in life. There’re many more factors your kids need in order to succeed in society. One factor is how they carry themselves. This requires you to understand how the Western society works. You may want to teach your kids manners beyond Chinese customs. You may need to research on how to behave in Western business or social settings. Do your teenage boys know how to move beyond asking for a girl’s number? Your old ways from your home country may fare badly in this new society. Do your homework. There’re many more areas your children need to be taught in order to be successful in Western society.
For this episode, we went down to The Drunken Poet at Orchard Road to attempt an Undefeated 5KG Burger Challenge! This challenge has a 30-minute time limit and can be done in pairs. I invited a subscriber of mine and budding competitive eater, Edmund (@edapappe), to tackle this challenge with me. On top of all that, The Drunken Poet offered to donate $500 to a charity of our choosing should we do it within the time limit. We decided on Tak Takut Kids Club (TTKC), a children’s charity.
The burger itself consisted of a 1.5kg Beef Patty, a 1kg burger bun, 500g each of lettuce, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, crispy bacon and crispy onions, forming one formidable burger. It is actually available for delivery and costs $98.70, easily serving 5-6 people. Perhaps surprisingly, most of the components of the burger were delicious, especially the crispy bacon. With a time limit and only 2 daring men attempting it, it was truly a challenge. Focusing only on the kids relying on us, we pushed through and completed this Undefeated 5kg Burger Challenge in 28 minutes and 21 seconds.
Thankfully, this means that TTKC is $500 closer to their fundraising needs. TTKC is a home to many children and teenagers who come from challenging backgrounds. It is where children can come and play, make friends, get help with homework, and receive socio-emotional support that they might not be able to get in their own homes and in schools. As a connector to nearly a hundred participants (and local stakeholders), TTKC is also readily activated when community support for children is needed. It sees a daily attendance of 40 children, and their numbers are growing steadily! TTKC needs at least $25,000 to cover rent for the upcoming year, so please check out their website below to find out how you can support them, either by directly donating or through one of their fundraising programs.

吃早餐，入學考試和口語考試（英語水平考試），午餐，選擇團體課，校園介紹，去購物中心換錢，購買日用品，回學校吃晚餐。
多年後我回到學生生活，超級疲憊也超級興奮！一起來看看我美麗的學校“IDEA ACADEMIA”吧!
我的學校位於宿霧市中心，生活機能非常方便， 這是一所日資學校。
我為什麼要選擇這所學校？ 因為日本的學校風格主張獨立學習，不會給學生太大的壓力，所以我們可以享受學習英語，而不是害怕上課，我沒有一堆考試和作業。
每天從早上9點到下午4點，密集的 1：1全英語課程，以及大團體和小團體課程，讓我的英語技能，提高了很多。
學校有來自世界各地的學生，包括日本，韓國，泰國，越南，蒙古，中國，阿拉伯，義大利，俄羅斯等...當然，也有不少台灣人。
三個月的學生生活讓我非常開心和珍惜。

Do you know what do you do on the first day at Cebu Language School (IDEA ACADEMIA)? Let me Introduce it! Eat breakfast, entrance test- and speaking test (English level test), lunch, choose group class, campus introduction, going to Mall to change money, visit MALL to buy daily necessities, go back school eat dinner. After many years I return to student life, super tired and super excited!
Let’s take a look at my beautiful school ”IDEA ACADEMIA”.
My school in the center of Cebu where living functions are very convenient. This is a Japanese-funded school. Why should I choose this school? Because Japanese school style advocates independent study, it will not give students too much pressure, so that we can enjoy learning English, instead of being afraid of class, I don’t have a bunch of exams and homework.
Every day from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, intensive 1:1 full English conversation courses, as well as large groups and small group courses, my English skill, improve a lot. The school has students from all over the world, including Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, Mongolia, China, Arabia, Italian, Russia, etc... and of course, there are many Taiwanese.
Three months of student life let me very happy and cherished. This video including my first time the funny speaking test ...After three months，when I saw this video again, I felt I am really brave! (laugh)
