🎥Head’s up! Taipei Zoo warns on swooping Formosan blue magpies
➡小心藍鵲巴頭! 藍鵲寶寶在學飛 民眾禁入禁區
Once again, it's magpie swooping season at Taipei Zoo. Every year around this time, the zoo's Formosan blue magpies spend a few weeks keeping watch over their new babies. If a human intruder gets too close to the nest, the magpie parents may swoop down from the trees to defend their young. Taipei Zoo has cordoned off its magpies' territory to keep visitors from wandering in.
台灣特有種「台灣藍鵲」正值繁殖季，台北市立動物園就有一窩藍鵲寶寶正在學飛，為了保護幼鳥，藍鵲可能會攻擊在巢附近活動的其它動物。就怕遊客誤闖被成鳥攻擊、啄後腦勺，園方特地在鳥巢周圍拉起封鎖線，提醒遊客不要隨意跨越，以免被藍鵲「巴頭」。
