Every performance is a chance for me to move, excite, or perhaps inject some wonder, reflection or inspiration into someone else’s day. I didn’t always perform in slick settings, and I’ll never forget the witness I’ve been to the power that music and performance has, in all its authenticity, to truly evoke feeling, meaning and so much more. Growing up shy, insecure and soft spoken, music has always been my own whimsical, passionate, sometimes dramatic, but most importantly, authentic way of expressing myself to the world.
