專輯名稱：《Revolver》
中文譯名：左輪手槍
發行年份：1966
如同1965年專輯Rubber Soul (橡皮靈魂)，這張專輯名稱Revolve也是雙關語。除了意指左輪手槍，也是播放錄音帶時，轉動磁帶所需的齒輪。
至於內容歌曲，反映了披頭四對LSD，東方印度哲學和前衛的興趣。也抒情地表達對於死亡和形而上的相關議題。
左輪手槍的封面，是德國藝術家Klaus Voormann的作品。這位身兼貝斯手的畫家，也是披頭四在1960年代初期就認識的朋友。封面呈現出由披頭四成員的鋼筆白描漫畫和拼貼畫所構成的畫風。

#OnThisDay, 12th March 1971, John and the Plastic Ono Band released Power to the People.

Following his conversation with Tariq Ali and Robin Blackburn on the 21st of January that year, John was inspired to write an anthem for the revolution.
The basic track was recorded at his home studio, Ascot Sound Studios, the next day on January 22nd and given Phil Spector's 'wall of sound' treatment at EMI Studios, Abbey Road, London, in February.
Power to the People spent nine weeks in the UK Single Charts peaking at number 7.

Billy Preston: piano, keyboards
Bobby Keys: saxophone
Jim Gordon: drums
