某個深夜，有個青少年開車載女友到情侶巷親熱。他打開收音機，手臂環抱著女孩，開始吻她。過了幾分鐘，音樂突然停了，破壞了氣氛，接著傳來播報員的聲音，警告有殺人犯逃離瘋人院，就距離他們停車處半英里。播報員敦促若看到有人斷掉的右手是用鋼鐵鉤代替，要立刻向警方報告他的行蹤。
Late one night, a teenage boy drove his date to lovers’ lane for a make out session. He turned on the radio, put his arm around the girl, and began kissing her. Minutes later, the mood was broken when the music suddenly stopped and an announcer’s voice came on, warning that a murderer had just escaped from the insane asylum, which was located a half-mile from where they were parked. The announcer urged anyone who saw a man wearing a steel hook in place of his missing right hand to immediately report his whereabouts to the police.
女孩嚇壞了，要求男孩載他回家。但男孩不害怕，他鎖上車門，跟女友保證他們很安全，然後想繼續吻女孩。但女孩開始恐慌，推開男孩，堅持要離開。因被拒絕而惱羞成怒的男孩發動引擎，駛離停車處。他們抵達女孩的家門，她下車後要關車門時，突然大聲尖叫。男孩跑到她的車門那邊看是出了什麼問題，結果發現有個血淋淋的鉤子掛在門把上。
The girl got frightened and asked to be taken home. The boy wasn’t afraid, however, so he locked the doors, assured his date they would be safe, and attempted to kiss her again. But she became frantic and pushed him away, insisting that they leave. Upset about being rejected, the boy turned on the engine and peeled out of the parking space. When they arrived at the girl’s house, she got out of the car, and as she reached to close the door, she began screaming at the top of her lungs. The boy ran to her side to see what was wrong and there, hanging from the door handle, was a bloody hook!
