First let's meet Japan Airlines first
Japan Airlines was founded in 1951 by the Japanese government to build Japan's airplane travel network after WWI ended.

When I left Kaohsiung, I had no idea that a few weeks later I would be flying in an airplane high above the mountains and ocean of Hualien. In this episode, I complete the drive from Taitung to Hualien, stopping along the way to admire the incredible coastlines of Hualien County. I was invited to stay at the Bear Forest Resort, nestled in a very scenic area just south of Hualien city. Staying here was like a paradise, surrounded by lakes and forests. I had no idea there were places like this in Taiwan! Next, I checked out the famous Hualien night market, and I was pleasantly surprised at how big it was, and how much good food is available. The next morning, I was invited by friends of the hotel to take a flight with them from their private flying field, not far from the hotel. I was a wonderful few days in Hualien, and I'm excited for you to see this video!

Today’s vlog is in collaboration with Hello Fresh. To make things fun, we used the opportunity to have Tim be the one cooking for the family. Believe me, this doesn’t happen often at all. In fact, it’s rare. The guy hardly cooks and his excuse has always been because he doesn’t know how. With all the ingredients laid out in front of him with full set of instructions, he now has no excuse. Who’s laughing now because he is going to be cooking so much more now.

We are finally back in the UK after an awesome month in Hong Kong. I know you guys love watching vlogs in Asia but we will be back before you know it. It's back to reality here in the UK again and believe it or not, as we were on the airplane, we actually hoped that there will be rain (and there was).

Ngoc and I started the morning off eating banh mi in a taxi on our way to the airport. Saigon traffic was awful in the morning and it took over 40 minutes to get to the airport. We tried web check in, but it didn't work, so we checked in and was a little bit late. Nevertheless, we made our flight and an elderly woman sat in my seat and we decided to share a cab from the Hanoi airport to My Dinh Station, because we randomly happened to all be going to the same place. I hate airplane food. But this time it wasn't so bad. I ate a hamburger, yes, a burger bun with ham and finished the meal down with some che. We took a taxi from the Hanoi Airport and went straight to My Dinh Bus Station, which can be chaotic for many travelers. There was a sudden rush of noise and heat and everyone was sweating it up. We helped the lady find her bus to Thai Binh and we found ours to Ha Giang after I manually flushed my pee into a toilet that I shouldn't have peed in. The bus was already taking off and it didn't even have any more seats left, but we hopped on anyways. This sleeper style bus was supposed to take six hours, but it took roughly eight hours due to a quick stop where I ate some pho ga or chicken pho and it also picked up many people along the way and dropped many people off at various points. Oh, and remember not to wear your shoes on the bus. That's a big no no. I also hate sleeper buses because they make me feel really tired and lethargic. The people on the bus were nice though. Maybe a little bit too nice for the average person? Who knows. Either way, by 10 o'clock Ngoc and I were at our hotel for the night chowing down on some rice and fried chicken. This is just the beginning of our epic few days in North Vietnam. Be sure to check back soon for so much more!
