When God Speaks in Dreams
“For God speaks once, yes twice, though man pays no attention. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on men, in slumbering on the bed; Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction, That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man. He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.”(Job 33:14-18 WEB)
At times, God may speak to you through dreams.
He can give anyone a dream, even non believers, as can be seen when he gave Abimelech a dream about Abraham, and Nebuchadnezzar prophetic dreams.
Even Pontius Pilate’s wife received a dream about Jesus, to warn Pilate not to have any part in harming Jesus. Yet, Pilate chose to disregard the dream.
Sometimes, God gives a dream to a person, and gives the interpretation to another, so as to bring the two people together for a purpose. This happened to Joseph who received the dream’s interpretation so that he would be promoted by Pharaoh.
