In light of the recent announcement by the Facebook page Viper Customs, we would like to hereby clarify that the unauthorized Viper Studio 1:6 White Pilgrim/The White Wizard/Gandalf the White is a clear violation of intellectual property. Viper Studio contacted us for collaboration on the said character, but ultimately the partnership did not happen. Fully aware that we own the global license to the 1/6th scaled action figure of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit franchises, Viper Studio goes on to mass-produce the said product, and is currently selling it up to 199 pcs via its own channel as well as other pages like Charles’ Zen Room. The number of this production no longer justifies it as “garage kit” and Viper Studios/Viper Customs is now under legal liabilities. We’ve begun collecting any evidence and proof regarding this case. Any selling, purchasing, or promotional activities of the said product are also illegal and we reserve the rights to pursue legal actions against any person or entities involved.
近日網上流傳由Viper Customs製造的Viper Studio 1:6 White Pilgrim/The White Wizard/Gandalf the White為未經授權之商品，Viper Studio清楚知道本司擁有魔戒/指環王1:6可動人偶的全球授權，也曾經與本司洽談合作但未果，知情下卻還是公然侵權生產，且經由自身和Charles’ Zen Room 等頁面宣傳販售數量高達199組，明顯違反手辦定義，本司特此聲明如以個人名義或店家身分，販售或購買或分享或轉載等都已明顯違法，本司有權利針對以上及其他相關宣傳行為追訴法律責任，也已經著手收集相關事證。
