10 things to help Bridge the Gap between HIP HOP DANCES in the scene:
1 - Always include BBOYS/BGIRLS in HIP HOP CAMPS and FESTIVALS (and not just for Top Rock)
2 - Promote the BREAKING Category as BREAKING (Hip Hop) in all International Battles. So that Kids won't grow up thinking Breaking is not HIP HOP. =/
3 - Stop Saying BBOYING as a Battle Catagory. Unless it is a strictly a category for BOYS (which I think is absurd as it is)
4 - TOP ROCK is NOT a dance style, IT IS BREAKING!!!!
5 - again THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A F&CKIN TOP ROCKER! (a so called)Top Rocker is a BBOY/BGIRL!
6 - HIP HOP (freestyle) BATTLES Should allow BREAKING so long as they also know foundations of HIP HOP PARTY DANCES of the 80's.
7 - STOP Allowing FULL POPPING in HIP HOP BATTLES if your not gonna let BBOYS/BGIRLS enter with full on Breaking.
8 - Remember HIP HOP MUSIC is BREAK BEATS, RAP (and also Electro Funk) Not just RAP.
9 - Include BREAKING in all HIP HOP CHOREO (and I mean actual Breaking on the FLOOR not just Threads, Tricks, Flips and Caperia poses)
10 - TEACH the History of HIP HOP Culture/Dance in all Classes. Knowledge is the 5th Element. So Teachers should always end the class with knowledge of the Culture of Hip Hop. And that includes all the basic dances of HIP HOP.

前幾天被老師King Up Rock邀請至他的家與他的家人們吃飯，飯後甜點是House , Funk , Soul , Lastin Soul,音樂分享與欣賞，當然中間有帶入ㄧ些Rocking的歷史介紹，有ㄧ種再次被上ㄧ堂課的感覺，老師不只會跳舞，還時常去幫忙朋友們的活動當dj 放音樂，然後還有會打鼓，太有才了,已等不及再上他的課與他ㄧ起跳舞，ㄧ個把Rocking這個舞蹈從原本在世界上快消失，再次把它帶回來的男人，King UpRock !!!!!!!

An Awa Odori entertainment troupe, pushing the boundaries of Japanese dance traditions.
Takarabune is a creative dance company of Awa Odori, one of the most well-known Japanese traditional dances with a 450 years of history.
They push the limits of this venerable traditional art: their signature dance style is so aggressive and vigorous that it has been characterized as ‘dance beyond Awa Odori’. Their performance at a number of Awa Odori events held in Tokyo has generated growing interest among a variety of media, and the group has gained a reputation as the hottest Awa Odori group (ren) in Japan.

ロサンゼルスの劇場「El Rey Theatre」で行った、Hilty & Boschさんとのコラボ公演『AWA-HOP』の動画です。NEO阿波踊りとストリートダンスの融合！超絶カッコいいし、新しい！ステージの上で、興奮して鳥肌立ちました！

この動画は、クライマックスにMark Ronson featuring Bruno Marsの「Uptown Funk」に合わせたパフォーマンスの様子です。

映画『LA LA LAND』にも登場した有名劇場で、こんな素晴らしいステージができて本当に幸せです！エンタメ業界の方もたくさんお集まりいただいたんですが、そんなロサンゼルスの人たちにも絶賛していただきました！

LAのエンタメ界で活動する批評家の方には、「君たちの日本人らしいエナジーは、初めて鼓童が上陸したときの衝撃を思い出したよ。いや、それ以上かも！」と興奮気味におっしゃっていただきました。

Hilty & Bosch's phenomeral dance performances have astonished not only Japanese dancers but also dancers around the world. On YouTube, their videos have had over 35 million views, further increasing their popularity internationally. TAKARABUNE pushes the limits of Awaodori, a 400 year-old traditional art form. TAKARABUNE’s signature dance style is so aggressive and vigorous that it has been characterized as ‘dance beyond awaodori’.
