When I released Really wanna know ya last November I thought I was preparing for a new chapter of my life. I felt happy, energetic, in love and my music said it all. Little did I know the past year was gonna be the hardest for me mentally. The world fell apart and I fell apart too. Some relationships broke, others got stronger, I started doubting myself, started feeling “sad” not being used to feeling sad (cause “I’m a positive person and positive people shouldn’t feel sad”) and I’ve paid the price of my own nature: rushing into things and decisions, jumping to conclusions and not allowing myself to feel down. I was at my lowest and I barely recognized myself... Here’s what people see about me most of times but what is in my next release deals with that part of me I’d never like to allow myself to be cause I don’t like it... Useless to say that writing music has played a key part in helping me and being my therapy those times and you know I am a sucker at pretending. So here’s the first of many notes of my truth.

(With attached all of my highest most stupid moments to keep everything very me and a little less dramatic cause life is very amazing❤️)

Yogee New Waves released their long-awaited 4th album "WINDORGAN" for the first time in about two and a half years.
Today, the latest song SISSOU started with the album was released advancingly and the music video was also released.
The latest song SISSOU is a piece with a feeling of running away from the wind. SISSOU started distributing before the release of the album, is a song that weaves the word « farewell » of each country, where Kakudate(Vo.) has traveled during Asia Tour and his private time.
It is a masterpiece with a clear mood, and it depicts the determination and thoughts of going on a new path without looking back.
And the music video for SISSOU was directed by Kodai Kobayashi, who has a deep relationship with Yogee New Waves, both in public and private.
The music video is filled with nostalgia and emotions by means of moving rapidly around the performance scenes in various locations.
Director Kodai Kobayashi said, “I aimed for a windy mood video of a band in Tokyo that’s has expressed different kinds of farewell and goodbye. I like this song drawn in a neo acoustic way, in which I can feel the fleeting and the loss.”

i had to wait a little before I posted this because I needed to make sure I healed a little (im okay now).

I had a mental breakdown recently, very unexpectedly. Sometimes it just hits you out of no where and you feel every part of yourself breaking into pieces. I didn't know why but I shattered. And ironically at that moment, I just finished filming an M.C.R video & was pumped as hell! But right after I took off my wig and shawl, everything went downhill. I filmed this because I wanted to see what I look like while experiencing a mental breakdown (this video is just 5% of the breakdown).

I burst into tears, my body was shaking, my chest felt heavy & my heart started pounding. I felt so lost and confused. It felt as if I was drowning so deep. I called someone I trusted & so much of pent-up emotions and feelings were released. I did NOT even know I had that much of blockages in my head and heart. I felt so much lighter. I looked at myself in the mirror and knew I regained a little strength back.

I am sharing this so that you know one thing. EVERYONE, no matter how big, small or experienced, everyone goes through mental breakdowns. And it is nothing to be ashamed of. In fact, it is something to EMBRACE! It is only through mental breakdowns, we are able to release so much of what's bottled up within us, consciously or unconsciously. Please talk to someone you trust if you ever feel like you're shattering. A mental breakdown, fortunately is one of the best ways to heal, no matter how unpleasant it may be.

I chose this song because it holds a special place in my heart. I released it in the beginning of the pandemic and little did I know how relevant the lyric "I should have just stayed home" would be...

The concept of this song stemmed from my yearning for true, genuine friends. Through the pandemic, I wasn’t able to see my friends physically, but I sure enjoyed “dancin’, laughin’, groovin’ on my own.” I wanted to embody that joy for my NPR Tiny Desk Contest entry! I wanted to challenge myself and decided to write a whole new arrangement to perform using my live looping station, the BOSS RC-300. All the sounds you’re hearing were performed live and looped in real time. This is a self directed, self-arranged performance, please feel free to groove along with me, ok? =)

I made ice cream bars using the inner bag of the Oreo Family Pack, which is newly released in Japan. The inner bag of the family pack is smaller than the inner bag of the box Oreo and is perfect for making an ice bar.And the box of Oreos is perfect for freezing the ice bars! It made me feel happy. The Oreo and milk combo is delicious.
*Recipe* (for 6-7 bars)
1.Prepare by crushing or sandwiching.
2.Mix 200g of fresh cream and 95g of sweetened condensed milk.
3.Pour (2) into (1) and cool in the freezer.
4.Done!Easy!

日本で新発売のオレオファミリーパックの内袋をそのまんま使ってアイスバーを作りました。ファミリーパックの内袋は箱オレオの内袋に比べて小さめでアイスバーを作るのにぴったり。そして箱オレオの箱はそのアイスバーを凍らせるのにぴったり！なんだか うれしくなっちゃいました。オレオとミルクのコンボ、おいしい。
*レシピ*（6•7本分）
１．オレオにバーを挟んだり、オレオを砕いたところにバーを差し込んだりして、内袋でアイスバーの型の準備をする。
２．生クリーム 200g、加糖練乳 95gを混ぜ合わせる。
３．２を１に注ぎ、冷凍庫で冷やす。
４．でけた。簡単！
